The Normanville Hotel

We had lunch at the Normanville Hotel last Sunday, 26/5/24 and they were very accommodating considering we arrived just after 1:30pm in the afternoon. Service was prompt and friendly, food was standard pub fare being well presented and tasting delicious. My chicken schnitzel was very tender and tasty. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience at this pub! The food was excellent, offering a delicious variety of dishes that were both satisfying and well-presented. What really set this place apart for me was its charming old-fashioned style—it felt like stepping back in time! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food in a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Great service, the lovely people behind the bar even tho they were working their butts off and dealing with a stag do on a hot day had nothing but smiles and quick service. The kitchen had just closed but they were still happy to make us chips 10/10 one of a favourite places since we started our trip around Australia.. also dog friendly

Hands down, the best Parmie I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and tender and REAL chicken. Absolutely lovely. ♥ Real veggies and excellent chips. Great work guys!!

Incredible service last night, staff were very friendly and went the extra step to put candles on a brownie for my friends birthday. Food was also delicious and a great price!

Nice pub . Only thing I didn't like dogs in the outdoor area . They need a limit to many on the night we were there..

Really friendly welcoming staff! They went through tap beers and menu items with us and helped us decide on what to order. Great service and exceptional food with perfect portion sizes. Highly recommend dining here :)

It was a wonderful hotel to dine at, being one of South Australia's oldest pubs.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious, we had herb & garlic foccacia for starters, then Moroccan Lentils and Atlantic Salmon.
The food came out quickly.
The front bar had lots of atmosphere.
For refreshments we had paddles of craft beer. It was delicious, with a good selection.
I truly recommend coming here you won't regret it.

Popped into Normanville Hotel for an impromptu lunch. Hubby had Black Angus Rump Steak & I had Chicken breast Schnitzel. That was the best schnitzel I have ever had at a pub - tender, juicy, crunchy crumbs & not oily. Hubby said his steak was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's a great place to eat. The food was fantastic. The ladies' toilet is spectacular. Like walking into a 1950 bathroom.

I travel a bit and you always want a good meal. Well last night I complimented the Chef. Beef and Mushroom ragout pot pie with a side of tge best cooked vege I have ever had. OMG.
Also served Pork gourmet sausage and mash.
The setting was lovely and so comfortable. Great bar staff, very attentive. Highly recommend.

Really attentive and friendly staff. Good coffee and excellent meals for lunch. A tad pricey but the chick snit was one of the best. So juicy and full of flavour.

A lovely welcoming place to enjoy a delicious decently priced meal. The lady's toilets were gorgeous too! Haha! My friends and I didn't want to leave, but enjoyed the experience while we were there. Staff are very friendly and efficient too.

Lunched with a companion in transit back to Adelaide. Service, menu, food, cost and vehicle parking all very recommendable. We chose the Normanville for its historic significance and I was anticipating being seated in the main dining room where we planned to peruse the historic photos on display there. Sadly, due to a quiet period mid week, that room was closed for business! Not a complaint, just disappointing! Beautifully restored old pub and well worth a visit!
