PowerHouse Fitness Gym

Powerhouse is the best gym I’ve been to. After trying out a few franchise gyms I joined Powerhouse and can confidently say I don't want to leave anytime soon. They have an awesome atmosphere with friendly staff and gymgoers, great lighting, music and every piece of equipment you can ever need. They even have a protein shake bar for your mid/post workout protein hit!

Everything you need in a gym! Steph and her team will make you feel welcome and with all the inspiring members training hard around you - you can’t help but get motivated and earn it for yourself!! Get in and get started - it’ll be a decision you will not regret!!

When looking for a gym in my area I came accross PoweHouse Gym online and on first glance it wasn't somewhere I would 'fit in'. After weeks of hestitating, I finally popped down and I was welcomed an awesome staff member. I signed up then and there. I have now been a member for a few months and it is the best gym I have been to. It is not your typical gym, everyone is welcome and it shows. Steph (owner) has done a tremendous job creating such an inclusive environment.

There is so much knowledge in this gym about training! From the staff to its members, everyone can help you and they will if you ask. Powerhouse is very welcoming with a friendly atmosphere when you first enter. The overall vibe of the gym is great, the music makes you want to train hard and do the best you can do. I love training at Powerhouse! If anyone visits Adelaide I always recommend a trip to The House.

Great place to take in inspiration. They have pictures all around of pro body builders and an excellent vibe. Way better than any other gym I've been to, far more cool. They've also got everything I need to get the job done, especially a $5 casual entry fee which is a real lifesaver as I don't get the usual membership guilt. Staff are also very nice.

Great people go there, friendly environment, awesome music, fun fitness classes and wicked apparel.

Serious body building gym. Lots of interesting older equipment I'd never seen before. Multiple machines so not much waiting. All machines are in top notch working order. Music was much better than mainstream gyms and has a pretty cool vibe with all the old body building posters on the walls.

Fantastic local gym with great equipment! Has the old school vibes but the gym-goers push you to train hard! Staff are always awesome and super friendly - boss lady Steph is my fave!

Killer gym really miss it since moving. Competitive price but far better than average. Everything you need and some of Adelaide's best athletes regularly train there if you wanted to meet likeminded people in bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman etc

I love everything about this gym, the equipment, the old school vibe, the people, the staff and especially the LED lights around the place and its very clean unlike other gyms I've been at. Couldn't say a bad thing about this place.

This gym gets all five star reviews for a reason; massive array of quality weight machines for every possible muscle, even ones you didn't realise you had and it never feels crowded at anytime of the day. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they are all passionate about keeping fit and happy to help, it feels safe in there, you could happily leave your valuables in the open lockers, the other gym goers are a friendly bunch and many seem to know one another but it's never intimidating if you're new. I use the $5 a go casual visit which is exceptional value and must surely be the cheapest in Adelaide. The cardio section is really good and don't just think it's a gym for weight lifters as there are plenty of good cardio machines too to give you an all round workout.
Highly recommend Powerhouse.

If you’re reading this because you’re looking for validation for a place to train & everything is at your disposal… well, you have it! Of the many incarnations this gym has been through, and there have been many, this would easily be the best! Stephanie & Randall have given it a World Class facelift while still retaining an honest “sand & grit” feel! Whether you’re looking to achieve general fitness, weight loss, weight gain, body-building, body-sculpting, powerlifting, your power is housed here! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff will help you achieve your goals. OR if you just want to train & do your own thing, you can do that to! I travel for my work so the 10 visit cards for $40 are just perfect… and have I mentioned the BEST value for money anywhere? Well I just have …and you can quote me on that! :)

A great hardcore gym. You won't find many like this in Australia. Definitely a sight to see for any iron addict visiting Adelaide, and if you're lucky enough to call this gym home I envy you.

PowerHouse is a family owned and run business just a short 5-10mins out of Adelaide's CBD.
There is no doubt that the fitness industry is booming at the moment, and with so many choices it can be daunting to find a gym to join however, look no futher than PowerHouse Fitness Gym!

If you don't consider yourself the 'Hardcore' type (just like me), look past the front signage beacuse I assure you that the environment inside is the most warm and inviting you will have ever experienced - not to mention the welcoming nature of the staff and the motivation of fellow members.
