After reading some of these negative reviews, I had to jump on and post my review, these are one of the best family lawyers in Melbourne, my dealings with them 9 years ago was so professional and thorough, they are so informative , Sarah is absolutely lovely and Cos is fantastic whom dealt with majority of my case. Amazing team out at VM lawyers. I had the pleasure of dealing with Cos and he assisted me through my settlement matters.

I'm very confused by these bad reviews so I feel obligated to share my experience. First I want to say thank you to all these smart and caring women working there. My experience so far has nothing less then highly professional. They all know my name which makes me feel like they geniuenly care. My first call was promptly answered and as they heard about my urgent matter they gave me a appointment the next day. Family matters are very stressful since they involve your most loved once but having Georgia, Danielle and Sarah supporting me gives me peace of mind. They put in so much time and effort and communicate throughout the process which is sadly not the norm. Thank you again

Sarah Vessali may be responsible for more avoidable suicides in dads in Victoria than any other one person. No one is denying she is excellent at manipulating the family law system and making millions of dollars, and probably even believes she is doing it for the right reasons. The strategies she uses are discussed at length by Dad's in Distress who's entire vision is to keep dads from committing suicide in the family law system. If you by principle don't care about dads or believe children should see their dads ever, or dads should see their children, Sarah is for you. She is an evil person, she doesn't care about her clients children one bit and she just wants your money.

If you have a referral from VLegal Aid that names VM Family Lawyers, burn it. Being on legal aid means they (VM) don't respond to phone calls, emails etc then gaslight and blame you, They go out of their way to let you know they're supporting the wishes of the other side and you're just a povo legal aid client who doesn't deserve their elite service (tho you won't know if their service is elite because, you're not getting ANY service, much less the service reserved for $60K in the trust account clients). Get a decent lawyer, good luck in Melbournes family law scene, but give these guys a big swerve! They're rubbish!

Very poor legal service, charge for when you call them and the lawyer is not available to take your call, don't return calls for weeks, rude, inefficient. Absolutely do not recommend.

Absolutely sub-optimal “services” provided by a non responsive group of individuals. Go anywhere else but here if you value your outcomes
