Simple but nice.
[Close (walk few minutes level) to RSL with nice Chinese food. Club entry at rear.]
Been there a few times now, quiet few km off Fwy.

Great size rooms with King Bed, very clean and very friendly and helpful staff.also nice and quiet of the nighttime for a great sleep.
Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, quiet, and a short few mins off the main highway. I had a great overnight sleep here and was able to organise a late check-in

It may be a bit old, but the beds are comfortable, and it is like the old way with a bar in your room with snacks and beer and wine and soft drinks at a really good price. The staff are friendly, and it is within walking distance to the RSL which it has the best food around. What more do you need to stay a night to get where you are traveling? Highly recommend.

The position is great... Right near the local services club and also near a Riverside rest area(I recommend visiting the rest area it's peaceful and pretty).

A great little motel and a cute little town close to the highway. Great stop over on the drive from the south coast to the north. Good quality clean rooms with lovely service. Family room with 2 double beds was the perfect size for our family of 4. Even has a selections of beers, wine and snacks for purchase in rooms like the good old pre Covid days. We’ll definitely be back!

After spending $165.00 for a lower quality Motel in Holbrook, this motel was luxurious and only $135 for a similar twin option, queen and single. It has ALL the usual items toiletries, hairdryer, coffee and plunger, and so on even a stocked bar fridge. The room was fresh, clean and of a generous size.
Situated approx 50km north of Newcastle, Karuah is a lovely place. I'd recommend a stopover here on your travels.

Great place to pull in when you're on the move. It was quiet at night, and the rooms were alright. They weren't that busy the night I stayed, so they gave me a free upgrade.

Great find paid $115 the rooms were super clean, quite even had a mini bar. Free Wi-Fi which was fast enough to stream Netflix. Great meal at the RSL down the road and good breakfast and coffee opposite the RSL. IGA across the road of motel.

Had a great stay here. The rooms are nice, clean, bed was good .... and 2 min from the local RSL which has great food ... make sure you go as well worth it. As a stop over I'll definitely use again

Very easy to book direct with them. Room was really really clean (esp bathroom, even curtains), which is just so nice to walk into. There is the usual offer of tea, coffee, biscuits etc - but here a coffee plunger and fresh grounds is added, even a sort of mini bar - just want you want to relax with after a long drive. Dinner is easy to source from the restaurant at the RSL (five minutes walk away) and there is a pizzeria close by too (I haven't tried). Then to sleep in good comfortable bedding. Room service breakfast is yummy and hot. Good hot showers. Friendly owners. I have had a different room each time and can see they are well maintained. There is a nice rest area on the waterfront (below the RSL) for stretching the legs - Karuah is a very pretty and quiet spot.

Really good value. As mentioned before it is central to town. IGA and bottlo across the road, 24hr BP just down the road and newly renovated RSL 2 min walk

There is also room to park a rigid truck near the front.
Even has a mini bar with snacks and free plunger coffee

Excellent location, close to everything. Owners Trevor and Lyn are lovely people and make a great breakfast in the morning, cheesy egg muffin was delicious! Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Will come again!

Lovely clean rooms and excellent amenities. Our only negative comment is the Bathroom is squishy, the shower is awesome but our handbasin was in the way!!! Staff were excellent and friendly. We got in after the office closed and they had the TV on and the air conditioning cooling the room for us. Extra milk and heart choccies were just the little extras that make us want to go back. Highly recommend this Motor Inn. Thanks guys!!

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The amenities are modern and in a good, working condition. Certainly feel like we got value from this accomodation

Comfy bed, clean room. Small bathroom and a few cosmetic issues but friendly service, quiet at night and great value for money.

The rooms were the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The rooms are sound-proofed and you can barely hear anything happening outside of your own walls, resulting in a comfortable night's sleep. Short walk to major amenities and breakfast service offered in-room as well as a daily cleaning service.

I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Tony & I make the stopover at Karuah Motor Inn, great hosts Trevor and Lynne taken over from long-term Owners Karen & Peter since moved on, are now there to look after your every need. Lovely clean rooms, great hot water in their newly refurbished bathrooms, very comfy, cosy fresh linen, spotless, quiet, always get a good nights sleep. Lovely friendly Oyster village, the best little RSL Club with the friendliest staff & great Chinese Australian restaurant.
