Good lookout with an easy hike with an almost flat surface
It's 40-45 minus from the car park
Better to enjoy the sunrise

There were a few holes to watch out for but a normal 2WD can drive up the dirt road to reach this lookout without much trouble (in dry weather though). Roads from Nundle to Hanging Rock are bumpy but are being upgraded right now as of December 2021. Like someone else said, good view but Australia has plenty of these. Anyways, probably still worth a visit.

Unbelievably gorgeous views of the below valley and far beyond. Perfect spot for a picnic or even just to relax and enjoy the views.

Short, steep car trip or solid MTB ride from Nundle. Lookout turnoff before you reach the small township of Hanging Rock (from Nundle direction). Rough 1k unsealed road to lookout, OK for 2wd if taken carefully.

Great drive out past Nundle to check out this amazing view that is only a few metres from where you park. Well worth the visit.

1km dirt road into the lookout is in vg condition but drive carefully watching for oncoming vehicles. Fabulous views to the west of the hills and valley floor from the lookout. Drive onto Sheba Dams not far up the road.

Good free camping in the area. Camped there over the June long weekend. Snow, lookouts.wild life.
