The Goolwa section that we visited this trip was stunning. Such stunning scenery and beautiful bird life. We watched a flock of cormorants and crested terns hunt for fish in the water.

We travelled by boat from Goolwa. Had a nice lunch on board. Value for money. It was a short walk off the boat to the beach with a small guided tour along the way. Magnificent untouched area. National Park.

My family camped at Parnka Point over Easter. Ranger Tyson called in & he was a friendly, informative local, obviously very caring for the environment & a real credit to the National Park. A beautiful place to camp with excellent facilities. We'll definitely be going back

A beautiful and serene National park with plenty of bird life. We camped at Long Point camp ground which had a long drop toilet and no other facilities, but we’re in a SC van so it suits us.

I drove from Strathalbyn to Robe and took in the sites of the Coorong NP by taking the Loop Road (pot holed and corrugated, recommend sticking to the 40ks limit) with a stop to do the nature walk. Very beautiful with changing colours in the water. I also took the Old Coorong Rd which was better maintained. It’s really beautiful and worth while driving to enjoy what you can see rather than speeding through it especially as I saw many lizards, a snake, an echidna and a wallaby all crossing the road and would hate to be responsible for taking them out! Take your time and enjoy - you might even see Mr Percival

A unique and special park, home to the Ngarrindjeri indigenous people. We entered the park via boat. You'll find spots all the river to pull your boat up and have a picnic or go for a hike across the dunes to the ocean side.

Spectacular. Great free camping just take everything you need as limited supplies . Quiet sites. Most sites unmarked. If you do the beach drive. Don't go on your own as we did. Almost wrote the car off. Handy to have a good GPS for hiking and driving.

This is a long park along the coast of Murray River and Lake Alexandrina. It is spectacular and full of wild interest.

This is the place you want to visit when you really need to simply getaway from everything. A real relaxing location with no noise or light at night. A must for a good digital detox.

Fun trip down the beach. Bit windy and biting flies invade one morning but otherwise awesome place. Careful of the soft sand between campsite 26 and 42 mile..great trip

I only drove alongside the Coorong on my way to Robe. The land across the water looked like no other place I've ever been, and the sunset helped me feel that I was indeed on a grand adventure. I'm sitting in a tent now, that weeks long adventure will conclude in three days, but driving along the Coorong for the first time gave me an indescribable shiver down my spine. I could hardly believe for my near forty years living in Adelaide, I never knew this was here. Green and Earthen hills across silvered water with a rainbow in the sky that reaches out forever.

Excellent, well worth turning off the bitumen and staying a night or two at a campground of which there are numerous, can cross the coorong down lower end if in a 4wd,great fishing in southern ocean then available, long point or parnaka point suitable if towing,2wd access, great views, bird life etc

Beautiful beach to camp in. Totally worth the 4wd adventure to access the beach. I booked and paid for the camping spot online but couldn't find the fenced designated camp area. There weren't many signs and there was surf fishing competition the weekend we were there which was our luck as we got bogged in the sand and the fishing comp people straight away came and helped un-bogged us in less than 6 minutes!
