Chimes Spa Retreat

I had a beautiful experience at the Chimes Spa. My husband and I did the hot/cold circuit followed by a hot stone massage. Alina was so lovely and made me feel very pampered! Would highly recommend anyone coming to Denmark to go get lost and treat yourself at the Chimes Spa.

Perfect, peaceful location only 5kms from town. Beautiful accommodation, welcoming home-away-from-home atmosphere. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the garden & pool area, with a spa bath, separate shower & ensuite. The bed was very comfortable & the mini fridge a good size. It was great to relax and play pool, read, marvel at the view overlooking the Wilson Inlet, have a coffee (great coffee machine) or cup of tea any time of the day or night, and just generally enjoy the lovely retreat. The Chimes team were friendly & helpful & treated us to a freshly made slice every afternoon. So good to have access to the communal kitchen as well. Loved our stay and will definitely return. Didn’t get a chance to have a facial or massage but it’s on the list for next time! Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a two night stay here and loved every minute of it. The retreat is wonderfully appointed and homey and located only a few short minutes from town with great views of Wilson Inlet and surrounding hills (also keep an eye out for Shiloh, the cutest and most docile of resident doggos!). It is also in very close proximity to some great wineries - Single File is highly recommended.

We stayed in the king room with ocean view and couldn’t get enough of it. The room was modern and tasteful and equipped with all amenities you could need for you stay - including a giant bathtub which was our favourite.

The spa is also a must for some much needed R & R. The staff are attentive, friendly, and detailed oriented - right down to your choice of massage oil fragrance.

All round a perfect stay and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. The only problem was that we didn’t have more time!

amazing place. So much attention to details, the rooms are great and impeccable, they use only premium products, the hotel smells wonderfully throughout all the areas, they have a fully equiped kitchen which we can use and 2 barbacues. .One of the best value for money hotels I've ever been.

A beautiful location close to Denmark town. Rooms are freshly renovated, very comfortable beds, well equipped and great bathrooms. Some have balconies. Our room had an upstairs and would not be suitable for anyone with disability, but otherwise was well designed. We would recommend adding a decent size table - although one can always use the congenial dining room and lounge areas it is good to have one in the room.

Many TV channels and superb spa in our room; evening port and afternoon goodies provided; 24 hours tea and coffee, very comfortable sitting areas. Many good things for breakfast, Some evening platters are available - we thought the cold platter for 2 was overpriced and nothing particularly special albeit very nicely presented. Others complimented the BBQ platter however.

Overall, highly recommended

We had a fantastic stay at Chimes Spa Retreat. Special shout out to Terri for her excellent customer service and to Alina for her exquisite spa treatment! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique accommodation in Denmark. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed two nights at Chimes. The rooms have recently been renovated and are very nice, the big bath tub is a lovely touch to the space. The host was very welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our indulgent package at the spa, this was the most enjoyable part of our stay.

Mum and I had a very relaxing stay.
The rooms were clean and quiet.
Breakfast was delicious, the views and the garden’s beautiful atmosphere made sitting out on the deck very enjoyable.
The highlight of the trip was the spa treatments especially the hot stone massage. The staff are so nice and friendly and very welcoming and professional.
If we didn’t feel like going into town for dinner or to buy a meal to have back at the house we enjoyed the tasty platters of food provided.

Moment I walked in the door early morning check in. I felt like home for my 3 day stay.
Breakfast delicious, room spacious and clean. Nevertheless the bath is 10 out of 10.
Massage is walking distance. View is like a picture that changes every minute. Chimes has a pool and garden to sit back and listen to wild life and stream of water.

My boyfriend and I didn’t stay at chimes resort but we visited the day spa. We had the most beautiful experience from start to finish, and were treated like absolute royalty. Such a professional and welcoming environment, truly cannot thank you and recommend chimes enough.

Absolutely fantastic stay here at Chimes. The room was amazing and I really enjoyed the bath. Beautiful outlook and great facilities (fridge, bbq, plates, utensils etc) - we had the BBQ platter arranged by Chimes and it was great - plenty of food!
Unfortunately it was a quick one night stop, and I didn’t have a chance to try the pool or the spa facilities but I’d love to try these next time!

Had the most amazing stay here while having a vacation. Saw the place had been operating for 26 years before the new owner bought it over in 2022. The place is stunning in every sense of the word - the room, the cozy ambience, the surrounding, the ocean view in front of the veranda. It was a peaceful place to just laze and gaze the ocean, to recharge and rejuvenate.

My Therapist was Genevieve, for both the massage and the facial and she was excellent.
I will definitely be recommending her and Chimes for friends who are visiting.

The place and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Spa treatments were relaxing, food was beautiful, finally found champagne that I love! (Rock paper scissors is the name) IKOU products were available to use in the rooms that smelled Devine. Jeanne was an absolute gem in amending my booking and making sure we had enough nibbles. Secretly the best part of chimes was the adorable doggo Shilo.

Thank you for the amazing massage, facial, steam room and plunge pool! My friend and I had an amazing time. The location is stunning and the food platter was lovely :-)

The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained full of small animals and birds.

Pool is also very good

Very good communal facilities to enjoy with a pool table, comfortable sofas, tv, board games, outside chess, balconies etc. Also enjoy the evening port

We loved every minute of our stay @ Chimes.Very relaxing, we enjoyed our treatments @the spa and were impressed by the attention to detail .
We had to leave early morning and really appreciated the breakfast bag to take with us to enjoy on the way home.Thank you so much Jeanne and team for a wonderful break .Will definitely be back in 2024.
