We enjoyed a horse and cart guided tour around the park. Very informative. Amazing amount of animals (mainly African), for a privately owned park. The animals are cared for very well, and they are very successful with their breeding programs. A real gem to visit.

My family and I travelled to Leeton and went to Altina Wildlife Park today. The tour guides were absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about all the gorgeous animals. A massive shout out to Jess in particular who was just sensational! The animals were all magnificent and we fell in love with the Marmosets on our encounter!

Altina is a hidden treasure on the Sturt Highway and a conservation haven for so many species in the heart of the Riverina. The animal encounters are delightful with utmost care taken that the animals are comfortable with visitors. Every visit has new experiences and we go back at least yearly.

Absolutely fantastic, our guide Cat was amazing at answering all our questions and letting us have a good look at the animals but most importantly the animals look happy and adored
As the tours are guided you will have to wait at the main gates for the park staff to open them, which won’t happen until about 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time so if you are really early bring some water and snacks.
Such a heartwarming experience to see the animals so happy and healthy.

Honestly one of the best wildlife parks my partner and I have visited, and we have been to quiet a few, you book in advance online or can call up to see if there are availabilities. We had booked 3 of the animal encounters and they were able to organise a fourth for us when requested, all the staff we very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable about their animals. The animals were well cared for and well socialised, with lots of room to roam. The monkey's and meerkats we interactive and happy to take food and climb all over you if you were quiet and respectful towards them. The rhinos we're happy to come in for some treats and let you have a scratch. The lion encounter were our highlight, feeding them was an amazing experience, just keep you fingers to yourself because they are wild animals. Our tour guide, I believe her name was Sonya, was lovely, she made sure to point out the different animals and gave us plenty of time with each encounter. 10/10, we will be visiting again!

There is no other experience like it absolutely amazing and educational.
Not like a normal zoo it's a guided tour we took my step father who has mobility issues they were accommodating and helpful and he got to take the grand kids and experience something new with them as a 58 year old man who has been to many zoos he was overwhelmed with the experience

We did a tour on the 11/6/23.
It was an amazing experiance for the whole family we loved all of it, from the horse and cart to all the amazing animals.
I love that as you go around they feed the animals so you get to see them up all really close unlike other Zoos you see them sleeping from a distance (mostly). Tour guide (Rebecca) was so patient with the kids questions and comments they learnt a lot while seeing and loving the experience. They have already asked if we can do it next weekend.
I would reccomend this to everybody it is a MUST SEE 10/10 !!!

This was a fabulous wildlife park and a little different to any others I've been to. That take you around in a motorised or horse drawn cart. The guides are great. They have lots of knowledge of the animals and really seem to love their jobs. Would definitely go again. Prebooking is a must as they book out. They only do guided tours.

Such an amazing experience. We were on the horse drawn cart with Ash and Jet. Ash's knowledge and passion for the animals was incredible. She was so personable and great with the kids too. Jet did an amazing job pulling us around, even remained brave around the lions! Can't wait to go back again!

I took my son who is 4 today, he loved it and so did I. We did not go in the horse drawn carriage instead just opting for the basic seats on the back of the Ute. It was pretty cool. There was plenty to see, we arrived at 12:45, with gates opening at 12:50 for our 1pm booking. We could then park inside the park. From the parking we moved into the gift shop to pay and then on to the little walking track here we got to see some monkeys, mear cats, crocodiles and alligators. We had 30 minutes to roam around before boarding our ride around the park. The ride went for about an hour and half. All the animals seemed to like the attention and came up to the viewing areas, some with a little coercion of food from the guide lol. It was a great day out. The kids could move around the carriage while stoped to get a better look, all in all I would recommend Altina wildlife park. Bookings are essencial on their website.

Great little visit, quite a surprise to see lions, rhinos, hyenas and such deep in Australia. They put on a great show with getting the animals to come say hi, through a fence! And red pandas are very cute up close but also look a bit like ginger haired racoons
