Bittersweet

Great coffee, service with a smile and very tasty desserts. I had the melting moment biscuit and my wife had the mango and passionfruit roularde. Both were delicious. Busy place but the service was fast and friendly. If you haven't been, go.

Our go to place for deserts including a good range of GF!.

The new undercover area out front is awesome.

Lovely cafe with the best cakes. I love that the cakes and bisquits here are a bit unique and not just the good old average, what you can get anywhere. Happy to come back any time.

We have been to Bittersweet several times and they never disappoint. Always smiling friendly staff and food is delectable. Today however, to say they were busy would be an understatement. With barely a spare seat and the order line out to the door, the staff at Bittersweet made it look easy, still smiling and polite to all and even made time for a laugh. Well done legends!

One of our favourite places to visit! Kid friendly, they were able to cater to our children's food requirements. Friendly staff who were happy to have a chat or two. Colouring pages provided were a total hit!

Exquisite decadent desserts, good coffee and brilliant service. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to select from the huge range and do not rush just enjoy. My gorgeous fiance had the spinach and feta parcel, l managed to sneak a bite before he devoured it. Deliciously scrumptious! Perhaps save the walk to the lighthouse afterwards, to walk off that full belly.

We went to Bitter Sweet after a walk along the beach. The food is really good and tasty. We had the chicken burger, eggs Benny, salt and pepper squid with salad and vege quiche.
The service was good and quick.
Must visit if you're near Lighthouse Beach.

A wonderful little spot on a very quiet street. The Cafe is absolutely adorable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and very filling. The coffee and chai lattes are fantastic as well, I had to stop myself from getting a third coffee lol.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. The menu is delicious and you can always follow it up with a delicious cake from the selection that is laid out so decadently right at the counter where you pay your bill. How could you leave without buying one?!!! I had a tasty salmon stack. Generous and yummy. I'm not fond of their coffee but the rest is 5 star gourmet. You'll need to head to the beach to walk off the calories afterwards.

The freshly baked Plum and Almond Tart melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast, home made hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was fantastic. Our girls said their milkshakes were the best they have ever had.

This is the best meal, coffee and service we have had in years. The meals were hot, tasty and we didn’t have to wait very long. Not only was the coffee hot, but it had a flavour. The staff were courteous, happy, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Obviously loved by the locals as people came and went not only for sit down meals/coffee, but also take away. The patisserie had a great selection of cakes. I cannot recommend this Cafe highly enough.
I had poached eggs on sour dough. My husband had baked beans, chorizo sausage and poached eggs on sour dough.

Lovely cafe during our stay at port Macquarie. Food was delicious and service quick.

We had an terrific breakfast here! The fruit salad was thoughtfully made: full of berries and all the good stuff! Walnut and fig loaf was tasty and coffee good too. Recommend!

They must be the best sweets and cakes in Port Macquarie. Very naughty but OMG very nice!

Just make sure you go inside and look at the dispay of tempting delights all made on site. Great location, seating inside and out. You can even see the ocean!
