The Sawmill MTB Park

Really enjoyed this park. Felt like I was riding through the rainforest.
Well signposted and I just love these natural handcut trails. Drops, dips, roll overs really fun.

Awesome track. A credit to the people who made it. A big thank you to motor bike and horse riders for staying off.

It's the best track I've ever been on everything is perfect but riding back up is a pain

Great single-track. Fast, flowy trails. Not as technical in comparison to say, Ourimbah (central coast, NSW). Trail is tight though and easy to clip a pedal in places.

Easy to take a wrong turn onto motorbike trails, but you will soon figure it out due to ruts & tyre tracks. It would greatly benefit from proper signage.

I used the Trailforks app with Strava segment overlays to give an idea of laps ridden frequently. Also met some friendly locals along the way.

Well worth multiple rides.

Great loop one of the best in the area, don't bother with cows

I was walking, not biking. It was pleasant but recent rains made a mud pit of the roads and trails. I wore tennis shoes as I didn't know there would be so much trouble with leeches. I recommend walking it in dry, hot months or in wellington! I spent too much time looking down to enjoy the flora and fauna!

Awesome trails (sawmill side) to ride, will keep XC riders on their toes. Signage is poor, trailforks shows way less trails than are there!
