Best Doctor by far, my recent experiences with other doctor surgeries haven’t been the best but since coming to Doctor Hussain and the team at North Star I have been listened to and have finally received a diagnosis. I couldn’t praise these guys enough. If you’re looking for quality care this is the place to go!!

Dr. Hussain is an extremely professional practitioner. He has great knowledge and shows compassion towards his patients. The way he communicates puts you at ease straightaway. Cant rate him highly enough. I definitely can't think of going to any other practitioner. Would highly recommend.

Have been here before but today was the first time seeing Dr Hussain and I'm so glad we did. It makes me feel so much better knowing that he is our local doctor. He actually cares about being a doctor rather than just writing scripts. Didn't feel like just a number but actually like the patient (my son) was really cared for. Above all of that he's great with kids and as a parent of a 1 year old it just warms my heart. Better than seeing the doctor as a scary thing!
Also, the staff have always been great with booking/managing appointments and his nurse is really lovely, attentive and great with kids as well. Really pleased with this little practise.

We were really looking for something to work for our 16 year old son to help with his Epilepsy, thankfully we got a referral to Dr Hussain Anjum. Dr Hussain is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate doctors my family and I have had the pleasure of visiting. His staff are amazing from booking your appointment, chasing results, returning calls, and looking after you from when you walk in the door, as a team they all go the extra distance to make sure you are ok. We have been in Doctor Hussain’s care for the past 10 years from when our kids were young through to adulthood, your never rushed in or ushered out like other medical centres so expect a short wait when you arrive while Doctor Hussain takes his time diagnosing, listening, and caring for the patient before you. When our own Dr of ten years did not want to treat my partner after she suffered a major stroke. We reached out to Dr Hussain and he accepted myself and my partner as new patients. Without doubt the most professional, skilful, caring, compassionate Dr you will ever meet. Dr Hussein genuinely cares for his patients and not just a number or dollar value. I personally have had great success working with Dr Hussein overcoming various medical issue from minor and major surgery to weight management that previous Dr’s and medical centres could not or would not assist in the way Dr Hussein does as he strives for results with his patients. Some people may complain about wait times but an example is I went in for quick consultation and Dr Hussein discovered I had a skin cancer that required urgent removal, he did have other patients waiting but instead of sending me off to make appointment he rushed me into the surgery room and got started there and then which kept others waiting this is the type of Dr we have in our region that’s goes above and beyond to help his patients doing it happily always smiling and without hesitation.

I have been seeing Dr Hussain as my gp for 10 years now. He is an incredible doctor who is extremely talented, passionate and through. He has caught and cut out 4 melanomas from my wife’s back which literally has saved her life. He has an amazing connection/understanding with his patients and I would trust him with absolutely anything.

My husband went to see the doctor as he was feeling off and tightness in his chest and he didn't have appointment but dr Hussain took him straight in and started to treat him when my husband went down hill and dr Hussain took no chances and called an ambulance . Dr Hussain has been godsend for my parents. After not being listened to by a previous gp, Dr Hussain got straight in and ordered tests and my Dad's health has improved dramatically. This has relieved a lot of stress for them both of my parents and they highly recommend him as a gp.

After moving to Bundabrg i was recommended to see Dr Hussain. A doctor who wanted my extensive medical history and from there decided what medication i should stay on as some were interfering which was making me feel ill most of the time. We need more doctors like Dr Hussain Anjum. He runs a great community oriented medical practise and his surgical skills have just saved my life by removing a spreading melanoma in it’s entirety.
Dr Anjum displays a passion for his work. He is thorough, thoughtful, caring and skilful. Yet he also manages to display his personality and sense of humour at appropriate times. His team of nurses and administration staff are also wonderful. We could not ask more of a local family medical centre.

Been seeing Dr Hussain since 2013. Friendliest personality that goes the extra mile for you medically and personally. Great with babies. Not a script pusher like other doctors. Have never felt neglected or uninterested by Dr Hussain and I always recommend him, a true doctor!
