Barbaresco

We visit everytime we are in Yamba. The food is fantastic, albeit a limited menu. The drinks list is expansive. They are great with kids and also have special meals for them, which are not on the menu. Service is always impeccable and attentive. Overall a bit pricy with most mains over $35 each but will worth it.

This place is amazing, very relaxed with a great ambience and the food is outstanding this place is a must if you are in the area, make sure you book.

Rarely do we experience such finesse at every level of a dining experience. Great wine, great food, exquisite flavours and attention to detail. Duck to die for, Hazelnut Tart that had us drooling, and the Creme Anglaise the best I have ever tasted. Best octopus, and the combos of diverse textures was brilliant. Favourite Australian restaurant. Have been there 3 times and it gets better every time. Great service and fresh local food. Just a pity I don't live in Angourue, as I would go there every night. Great for kids as well.

It was fantastic. There is no disadvantage! Good vibe and nice food(♥even i am picky though)! Just try it! Never doubt!

Just brilliant. From the food to the service to the design of the restaurant. Everything was absolutely perfect. I will be back on my next trip to Yamba!

Dined here recently with our young children (out of necessity as we didn’t have a babysitter) we were worried about bringing the kids to a 8.15 sitting, but the staff were so welcoming and made us feel nothing but relaxed. All four women on service that night were warm, friendly and welcoming. They made the experience much more relaxing and really enjoyable. And the food was sensational! Loved the calamari, the prawn/seafood pasta and the fish special main.
Can completely see why this beautiful restaurant is rated so highly. Nailing it on all levels.

What a fantastic spot with food and service levels we never expected to find in a tiny beachside town. Will be back :-)

We tried this place out on our holiday. The food was excellent. Delicious and well presented. The owner was really nice and welcoming. If there's anything to feedback to the chefs, the risotto portion was too small, otherwise all in the family enjoyed.

We ate at Barbaresco after hearing such great things about food, service and atmosphere and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The service was beyond lovely, our waitress was super friendly and helpful at selecting menu options for my partner and I as we are vegetarian. Each dish was utterly delicious. The rigatoni pasta dish I ate could very well have been the best pasta I have ever eaten out. Can’t wait to visit this beautiful little local spot again soon and could not recommend more highly.

Sophisticated Italian food. Beautiful presentation and highest quality. A laid back comfortable atmosphere with outdoor seating. Excellent service and solid wine list. We liked it so much, we went twice while vacationing in Yamba.

Probably the best Italian restaurant on the North Coast. We live around an hour and a half away, and I can honestly say that it would be worth the drive just for dinner.
The food is ridiculously good, amazing chef. Attention to detail with fresh local ingredients. Dishes are simple but done very, very well.
Fairly pricy, but worth every cent.
Atmosphere and service, impeccable.
Would highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. But you will have to book, well in advance.

Made the most awesome desert I have eaten! Was on their specials list, cannot remember what they called it but was rum and pineapple flavoured with a homemade pineapple toasted marshmallow

Service was amazing, very friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere was dreamy. Portion sizes for mains were small for the price but were delicious. Pizza was simple but the base was soft and tasty. Perfect slice of dining.

Outstanding food, great service, lovely ambiance. Great menu including lots of sea food options / vegetarian as well. Good wines. If anything it can get noisy. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Just had a dinner with the wife there on our holiday from Newcastle and we will be back many more times
