Nymboida River Retreat

Absolutely amazing! They've thought of everything! Karyn is so lovely and ready to help with anything and replies really quickly. They've got kayaks for guest use and they're directly on the Nymboida River. The accommodation is very clean and well styled. We were welcomed with a very generous hamper of goodies and everything we needed for an epic breakfast. There's friendly farm animals about and the view from the unit is stunning. Paradise. I would recommend to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a peaceful, relaxed and private weekend away and that's what we got.

Karyn is great. She gave us our space but was always available and so friendly. She had many thoughtful and caring touches to the place. A few seasonal freshly picked veg. Generous amounts of breakfast items. Well equipped kitchen for a studio.

The gazebo was such a great place to relax with a drink and nibbles while playing games that are provided.

Lovely aussie scene from the dining room looking through gum trees to the hills behind with few signs of civilization.

Kayaking was fun. An easy and safe part of the river to explore.

It's worth noting that the Nymbodia Village where this accommodation is located has been directly affected by the fires and flooding in 2020/21 so staying in the region and spending your money here will support the community.

Fantastic spot with an awesome country vibe. Kayaks available for peaceful paddles up and down the river. Friendly farm animals and the Lady is nice too! Highly recommend a stay to relax and recharge. Thanks for a wonderful weekend Karyn, we'll be back soon!!

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. Karyn is a great host very professional and the place is absolutely spotless. She is the best highly recommend we love coming down on our fishing trips even if we lose our phones in the drink 😉

We stayed at Nymboida River Retreat for 2 nights.

Karyn is very professional and personable host. She has thought of everything in the studio for a very comfortable stay and is very generous with little treats that add the 'cherry on the top' of the hospitality.

Very nice gazebo to sit and enjoy a cuppa or wine and cheese and watch the Nymboida flow past and the variety of bird life.

An ideal stopping point for a day or two, if you are touring the area. There are National Parks in the area, historic roads/sites for a day of exploring and the river of course for the adventurous. It is an easy drive to add Grafton, Dorrigo or Armidale.
