Loved this place 🤩 beautiful camp ground with firepit, cooking fire with shelter and picnic tables 🙂 I could hear the river from my swag 🥰 The communal kitchen has a kettle, toaster, microwave & 2 fridges for your convenience 😋 The restrooms & amenities are very clean and spacious with great water pressure (please be water wise)with washing machines available it’s great after a messy day exploring the mountains and rivers that surround Nymboida. The staff are friendly and helpful, with a selection of essential items available for sale at the camp store. I will definitely be back and might even stay in one of the many cabins available.

Absolutely lovely community-run campground with just the right amount of big beautiful eucalypts that provide dappled shade and wildlife habitat. The cheerful bird chorus is a pleasant calming soundtrack through the day, and the gentle creek songs lull you to a restful deep sleep overnight. The driver reviver is welcoming and friendly for passing travellers. The canoe and kayak hire is fantastic and there’s options for all levels of experience.
The facilities are clean and disability friendly.
Highly recommended.

Very reasonable cost. Beautiful sites, lots of space. Shelters, hot showers, camp kitchen if you need it. Run by community, who is recovering from the bushfires. Tons of birds. Can bring pets if you want to. Highly recommended

Loved spending 3 nights at this location. I arrived on a tour bus and decided to spend a couple extra nights and catch the next bus to get to my next destination. The cabins are simple but cozy. And it is a beautiful spot to be at. Cell service is non-existent so it is a great place to disconnect for a while.

Amazing staff, great price and good facilities all round for camping. Lovely bush camping spots right near the creek. Spent a weekend with a large group doing swift water training with Gray. Excellent instructor and guide and a great time rafting rapids. 10/10 would recommend

This place is AWESOME - just 40klms south of Grafton on Armidale Rd.

If you are looking for the best week/end get away with family/friends or just each other this is the place - the quietness greets you as soon as you arrive (and the tent is up) - the creek runs right next to the campsites and you can hear the water babbling by - we stayed in March and the water was warm enough for a dip. Amenities clean and tidy.

The walks are great and if you are a kayak enthusiast the history is worth looking into.

We stayed 2 nights and there were only a few others - no noise, no street lights, so the stars were magnificent.

The location is a NFP and is run by volunteers - a big thank you for all of your valuable time that you donate - your efforts are paying off and hopefully more people will fall in love with this location, just as we have.

A big tick from us - we will be back

I was at Nymboida Tool Library - which is a fantastic and underrated resource.
NCC is wonderfully supporting our community by allowing the library to be situated on their land.
NCC see looked very busy today new people booking in, canoe trips departing as well as the ongoing upgrades and repairs happening since the bushfires. The camping grounds are lush, the bathrooms clean and the workers welcoming....what more can you ask for.
