Moore Park Beach Motel

My son and I stayed here as a base for a week of fishing. It is just a short walk to the beach and also close to a number of awesome fishing spots.

Jan and Sally were fantastic hosts and would often stop for a friendly chat when we had retuned from a day on the water.

The room had everything we needed. It was clean, the beds comfortable and the full size fridge was great.

Highly recommended. We will be back.

We had a great stay for 2 nights, new owners were very helpful at any time. Nice quiet spot, close to most things. Very clean, Would definitely stay again or recommend a stay here, nice & relaxing.

What a pet friendly gem!! I was here for work for one night, and wished I was there for a couple of weeks.
I travel with my dog, who was welcomed with open arms too, which was lovely!
The rooms are fresh, clean, tidy and comfortable, the service from Jan and Charlie is amazing- they are so thoughtful and accommodating, and the towels!!!!! I actually asked Jan how she achieves the softest fluffiest towels I’ve ever had the pleasure of using because they were so fluffy and had a lovely fresh scent! She kindly told me her secret, but I won’t reveal it here- she can share it with you if she wants to! (You should charge for this info, Jan!)
Breakfast was included with my stay too- I had the scrambled eggs and a Vietnamese coffee. Charlie sure knows how to do great scrambled eggs and they were served with some perfectly buttered toast and a fried tomato- all done to perfection and very filling.
I usually stay in Bundy or Hervey Bay when up here for work, but as it was during the school holidays, I ended up looking further afield and was lucky enough to find this motel. It’s only 200 mins out of Bundy, and well worth it.
The beach seems endless, there’s a Bowlo across the road that serves drinks and meals, and the Moore Park Beach Tavern in town that makes amazing pizzas and plenty of other delicious options. They also have a bottle shop, which oddly enough didn’t seem to come up in my google search when looking for one nearby!

The single beds have wheels! Be careful when you jump in them! Rooms are functional and great for staying in for short amounts of time. Smoking spots in front of each room, everyone is very friendly. Remember to put your breakfast order in before 6pm! Lovely staff.

Without doubt, one of the best Motels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in hundreds. The rooms are immaculate, the service was impeccable and the breakfast was to die for. The location is perfect and it's proximity to the Tavern and beach makes you wanna stay a few days

Had a wonderful 2 nights in a room that catered for my husband's disabilities. Room and service and breakfast was excellent as well. Well done and we will be back and Re commend to anyone travelling to a lovely quite part of the world.

Ten out of ten and we even brought the cat. My friend and I stayed here overnight not knowing what to expect and it was fantastic. The room was large, clean and had everything we needed. Not only that, we received a very generous voucher to use for breakfast the next day simply because we booked directly on their website. Breakfast was home cooked and as good as you would get in any cafe. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Jan and Charlie. Best wishes Barbara, Sue and Lulu the cat.

What a lovely spot to stay, only a few minutes to walk to the beautiful beach & parks. The motel, pool-Bbq area & rooms are clean & very well serviced. We ordered breakfast they were delivered on time & absolutely delicious. Well be back for sure 🌺🌻🏖🌞

What a fabulous little gem of a place this is! Beautifully presented, immaculately clean. Being able to bring my pets is a huge advantage and the home cooked breakfasts are to die for! Jan and Charlie are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

The room was brilliant, super clean and comfortable. Miss those fabulous breakfasts already.
The BBQ area and pool is perfect and we so enjoyed our quiet night time dips.
Short stroll across the road to the bowls club and just a bit further to the magnificent beach.
Just the perfect quiet place we needed for the two days which turned into five days because we simply didn't want to leave (it's that good).

A gem of a find! Jan was a wonderful host. Rooms were super clean, comfy bed, and even a full size fridge. Great breakfast. Quiet location. Pet friendly with a large park across the road.

This is a lovely motel - clean, safe & well-appointed. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. It's a short walk to the beach & a pretty lagoon teeming with wildlife and birds. Booking directly is a good deal. Thankyou sincerely for a very relaxing break.

The place to stay in Bundy it's quiet and peaceful bowls club across the road dog park skatepark and beach if booking book direct not via the booking apps you get a better deal going direct rooms are spotless and comfy beds owners make you feel welcomed and appreciate the business not like other motels

We recently spent 2 nights at Moore Park Beach Motel. We booked it as we wanted to be close to the beach as well as Bundaberg. This is the perfect spot. It is quiet, within walking distance from a beautiful beach, so comfortable and clean. Jan made our stay extra special, her hospitality is heartwarming. We recommend the amazing breakfast! One of the most welcoming places I've stayed at. Very clean and great value, with a modern feel. Neat, manicured town and friendly people.
I needed a quiet place to unwind for a few days and Jan made sure I was comfortable and had the space I needed, and more.
Close to the beach and bowls club across the road. One of the lovely ladies there taught me how to bowl.
I would love to come back again, with my hubby and fur babies next time.

Stayed here three times now and always get a lovely welcome. All rooms excellent but I stayed in the disability room on my last visit and this suited my needs. Nothing is too much trouble for Jan and Charlie. Breakfast is delightful and also the evening meals, would definitely recommend to anyone.

We were very happy with the facilities.Everything was clean & updated. The disability unit was already booked so Jan removed a table to make more room for my husband’s disability & put a nice sturdy chair in the shower for him. We had a delicious hot breakfast delivered to the room each morning . The products were local & the toast came hot. Thank you Charlie. Within walking distance is the beach & the bowls club. We were amazed at the size of the beach. It went for kilometres & was lifeguard safe. On Friday night we enjoyed an evening meal at the bowls club & mixed with some locals. We enjoyed our stay & look forward to going again. Thank you to all the staff for the COVID cleaning. Robyn & Leo
