Fantastic small town hotel, everyone working during our stay were very friendly and helpful! The room was perfect for us, real old school, but clean and spacious! The shared area upstairs is really nice and we really appreciated the unexpected cereal and toast left available to us for breakfast 😀 the dinner was really good too and great variety on the menu! Desserts were tasty too 😊

Haven't stayed in the hotel itself, but at the campground behind the hotel (free). Other than the other places they don't require you to be self contained to stay here. Even if they don't provide toilets, they are available 24/7 across the street at the visitor information. Went to the pup, extremely friendly service. Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing. Between us we had Pea and Ham soup, pumpkin soup, and garlic prawns, and the Sticky Date pudding and dark chocolate pudding. It was all delicious. The Sticky Date Pudding was just fantastic.

Classic unassuming coastal town pub, no frills but great food with quality ingredients plus a surprisingly diverse menu of options. The fireplace added great atmosphere and was perfect for the cold night. Staff where also lovely. This was a great pit stop for a hot pub feed dinner.

A wonderful free camping site behind the hotel. Toilets across the road and showers ($4 for 3 minutes) just down the road. Cost is a donation to assist local community groups. Hotel dinners and a fish and chip shop on your doorstep. Level mostly grassed sites.
Thanks so much!!

We stayed in our motorhome in the back paddock and came in for dinner. Really nice cozy place with welcoming and helpful staff. Very affordable meal and kid friendly. Worth a visit. Beautiful little town.

Great food. The scallops and veg are to die for and staff are super friendly. The publican and his son + mate went above and beyond to get my bogged van out of a wet marsh. I love this place and love the country hospitality !

The food here was really yummy and you can tell why they get so busy.
The staff were really friendly and super accommodating to dietary requests.
There was also lots of gluten free options on the menu to choose from. Reccomend trying to book a table.

We had dinner at Spring Bay Hotel two successive nights. The food was lovely, well-cooked and tasty. An interesting menu, pub grub staples plus a touch of difference (goat curry, panko crumbed pork with Japanese curry sauce & rice - yum). The service was as friendly as you could hope for. The wines were excellent. Well worth a visit.

Had a great meal there on Saturday. All three meals were excellent. Loved the “gummy”, chips and salad. The two meals of curried scallops and rice were “yummy” Quite a varied menu. Love the “old fashioned” pub atmosphere. Staff very friendly.

Great country pub. The food was fantastic and you could not find nicer hosts. The beer was cold and the staff were excellent with the drink and food service. Cheap camping out the back with a donation to the fire brigade the only expectation.

Didn't stay but popped in for dinner after a trip to Maria Island. They are mega friendly here and they have a vegan option! Tasty food and evidently popular spot, a local hotel pub.

Best ‘Pub Stay’ of my life. Great location/ammenities (showers, kitchen area, etc.). Food was good. Most of all the owners- Liza and Geoff - made us feel so welcome.

We camped here for 2 nights whilst visiting Maria island. We were made to feel really welcome by the owners - so friendly and kind. We went to the pub for the first night for drinks - a local musician was playing and there was a great atmosphere!

The next night we returned for dinner, we had the woody and the lamb shank. It was delicious!

A lovely pub with great food, friendly staff and in a perfect location.

Thank you for letting us stay :)

We pulled up our camper for the evening for a small donation. Jess was fantastic and pulled us a much needed beer whilst having great a chat about the area and recommendations for our travels. Thanks for the fantastic hospitality Jess!

I cant comment on the accommodation. However we stopped in and had dinner in the dining room. The food was truly amazing. If i could give them an extra star I would.

Had an excellent lunch break on our drive up the east coast. Food was delicious and well priced. Try the squid...so tender. Will definitely return. Need to try the gummy with crispy chips; the batter looked so good! Lovely old hotel with friendly people. We felt very welcome.
