We recently were lucky enough to get married at Spring Bay Mill. It was the perfect choice; unique, inclusive and sustainable.

We loved every aspect of our day. The accommodation was clean, comfortable & aesthetically pleasing. The staff were kind, happy and helpful. The venue itself is incredible and one of a kind. They have every base covered!

Spring Bay Mill made our day even more perfect than what we could have hoped for & everyone had a good time - our ultimate goal.

Recently our eldest child’s wedding was hosted by Spring Bay Mill. The venue was just spectacular and the staff could not have been more helpful. Unbelievable wedding venue. Thanks to Tanya and everyone else for looking after us all so well. Could not have asked for more!

If you enjoy a pristine lifestyle, this is definitely a good choice for you. I stayed in the glamping tent and it was not cold. Heater was provided with quilt and blanket. The cheeky-outdoor-shower lets you get closer to the nature. You may be greeted by wallabies in the morning after going out the tent! The bar assistant is really friendly. He's helpful and handled everything in an efficient way. The lunch and dinner here are vegetarian friendly and delicious.

Recently attended a second work retreat at Spring Bay Mill, and the place just continues to get better. I've stayed twice in the large glamping tents - incredibly comfortable and warm. We had some staff stay in the new accommodation (pictured) and said it was terrific. The catered food for our event was excellent and service was attentive. It's an incredible place you must visit, I will be bringing back the family sometime soon.

We recently took a group of international students to stay at Spring Bay Mill in the Summer holidays. The students had the BEST time and absolutely loved every minute of it. The set up and facilities were phenomenal and we didn't want for anything. Whilst being outside in beautiful nature- the tents, robes and beds were first class! We felt so spoilt.

The food and staff were also so wonderful, kind and patient. Our students really felt that they could ask questions and chat. The list of activities really got the students out of their comfort zones and doing new things that they hadn't done or seen before from exploring the foreshore, bush walking, fermenting foods, Aboriginal education... A personal favourite activity for us and the students was the Aboriginal Education activity where we explored the bush and foreshore and learned some traditional weaving while talking about Tasmanian Aboriginal history.

Big thank you to Lucia and the team. Will definitely take some more student groups there in the future! Already talking about our next trip.

We had our wedding at Spring Bay Mill in early November and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The accommodation for all our guests was incredible, the staff so helpful with every aspect over three days, the diversity of venue is on another level. Couldn't recommend these guys enough for any kind of event.

We stayed 1 night for glamping and it was absolutely a 5 star experience. Very well equipped with toiletries, bed was comfy, heater works well, loving the kitchen area with beautiful view and fire pit. Very romantic at night with stars and ferry lights.

My Sister had her wedding there on the weekend. Beautiful place for the: Wedding, reception and to stay the night. Thank you to everyone at Spring Bay Mill for your hospitality and service.

Our stay at Spring Bay Mill was nothing short of beautiful and luxurious. The location itself, with its captivating narrative and breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean, had a profound impact on the participants. Many of us enjoyed morning swims and walks in the area. The comprehensive catering service, bar, and coffee provisions were a delightful treat for everyone. Moreover, the on-site staff were incredibly helpful and provided fantastic support in various areas, including food services, audiovisual equipment, and technical assistance. Both the participants and the team felt exceptionally well taken care of.

If you're looking for something different, have your event here.
Don't be deterred by the price, it is much more than you expect.
The staff go out of their way to accommodate your needs and the fact you have the entire property to yourself (and guests), is the most personal event you can have.
Unique is a massive understatement!
If only I could get married again it would be here.

We recently had our conference at Spring Bay Mill, and it was phenomenal! The high-level executives that came together for this experience had a wonderful time moving our ideas forward in this special environment. The accommodation and facilities are unique and luxurious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were looked after and had a great time. Everyone we stayed with made a comment on how great it was and how interesting it was to learn about the history of Spring Bay Mill. Thank you again to the whole team there, we can’t wait to return!

Industrial past meets luxurious future.
I attended a business event hosted at the Mill's Banksia room overlooking Spring Bay. The overall venue retains the raw intrigue of its industrial past yet now compliments the natural beauty of its unique environmental surrounds. I stayed for a coupe of nights in one of the peaceful off grid beach shacks, whilst attending . The beach shacks certainly proved that eco friendly can still mean sumptuous.
The enthusiasm of the staff for their environment, history and fine service is commendable. A special thanks to all staff for truly a remarkable stay.

Mackensie the event coordinator was so communicative and friendly, really made everything feel stress free. We had so much fun on the day with Mark, Jess, Allison and Tanya too! Really is just one of best teams of people.

We had the absolute privilege of working at staying at the incredible spring bay mill. We performed in the Tin Shed - the staff were incredibly supportive and even came to the show. We stayed in the ridge quarters - sooo beautiful. The location, the staff, the facilities supported our event, our experience and our wellbeing. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had our team offsite retreat at The Spring Bay Mill. We have been to many venues over the years and this venue by far was our favourite and an absolute stand out! The events team were super stars and catered to all our needs and the staff on site were incredible and so friendly and no request was a hassle. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and just full of joy. The event space and accommodation was so special and was the perfect environment for us a team to bond and celebrate. Thank you and we will be back again!!

The Tasmanian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects hosted the 2022 Tasmanian Architecture Awards presentation dinner at Spring Bay Mill, and it was fantastic. The team at the Mill were so accommodating of our event, and we turned the presentation dinner into a full weekend of events, with a BBQ on the Friday night, live entertainment in the Tin Shed, breakfasts on the Saturday and Sunday, a welcome to Country, and walking tours of the site. The food for the presentation dinner was delicious with a mix of seafood, vegetarian and meat options, along with an incredible duo of desserts. The whole site transformation is amazing! Thank you so much Spring Bay Mill!

One of the most truly unique venues in the world. So beautiful we filmed our first film clip 'Song of the Birds' here (Check it out on YouTube!). We have played concerts here many times over the past 5 years, and the performers and audiences love it. We are always beautifully looked after by the Spring Bay Mill staff, and the views and facilities are breathtaking. The Tin Shed is a really special concert venue, and we highly recommend their accommodation as well - the glamping tents are fab and the huts are really beautifully appointed. Just love it - we can't wait for next time!

It’s hard to describe how incredible this place is. From the moment we decided on Spring Bay Mill as our wedding venue our experience was nothing but outstanding; from the ease of booking accommodation for all our guests, the customer service and swift replies for all our wedding details to the actual location and venue itself.
Spring Bay Mill was an absolute dream venue. Special thanks to Alison who was there every step of the way and Robbie who was available all weekend for anything we needed.
Our ceremony was on the windlass deck and our reception in the tin shed. Our wedding party stayed in the eco shacks, which are fully sustainable with beautiful unobstructed views of the bay. Our families stayed in the Ridge Quarters and we shared big breakfasts and dinners in their incredible dining area. Many of our friends stayed in the gorgeous glamping tents. Everyone loved and raved about their experience.
Especially us… it couldn’t have been more perfect.
