The Old Convent at Coolamon

YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE FOR HIGH TEA! 🧡We have been twice for high tea and I cannot tell you how great the food and personal service has always been - it’s country hospitality at its best!! We are always welcomed warmly and make our entrance through the side veranda (down the driveway) which has a ramp for ease of accessibility. The home has so much history which is shared eagerly when asked. The table settings which are vintage tea cup and saucer sets are very sweet and the food is home country cooking at its finest which is served generously. Everything tastes amazing and we have had a takeaway container on both occasions we have been. Everyone receives a pot of tea that you choose from the tea menu and it’s good to be able to taste each other’s teas that are served in gorgeous polished silver tea pots and cosies! For those with limited ability there is a toilet inside on request otherwise it’s a few steps through the back of the building (past the bantam chooks) to a very neat and clean bathroom facility.
