What an absolutely beautiful property and restaurant. We dined for lunch and the food was exquisitely delicious! The service is fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful sitting out overlooking the dam.
We had duck spring rolls and they were generously loaded with beautiful duck meat, as a duck lover I also had the duck for mains, so tender and tasty. Hubby had pasta marinara and again, generous and delicious!
Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dining experience for lunch on a Sunday at Flutes.
From Sarah’s excellent customer service for our booking a month ago to Kirsty’s customer service on the day of dining, the service has been friendly, prompt and responsive.
We were pleasantly surprised by the intimate number of diners on our arrival as there were only 3-4 other tables during our 2 hours stay.
The venue is gorgeously luscious with greenery from the car park to the hotel entry, and the ground offers breathtaking view of the lake.
We had the set menu for 2 adults for 3 course complete with a kids set menu too.
The serving time was nicely spaced out with Kirsty checking in often to gauge how we were going.
Unfortunately both the beef entree and mains were sold out on the day but we were able to choose different item from the set menu.
The interior restaurant is modern and the air con was a welcome relief from the summer heat outside.
The presentation was also lovely while the only ‘complaint’ from my kids are there were no chocolate ice cream, only vanilla or raspberry sorbet. The duck leg could also be a bit juicer but this is personal preference only.
Overall a wonderful dining experience.

Group of 8 - 2 dish set menu

Our group all had the entree and main set menu.

The food portion was good and delicious. The wait staff are really attentive and friendly. Amazing view of the lake outside the restaurant.

This might just be one of the best set menus I’ve ever had. The food was very generous portion sizes, lots of variety to pick from on the menu, the service and food came out quickly and the food was full of flavour. My first time being here and what a delight! I’m shocked it wasn’t booked out on a Sunday because this will be on the top of my list the next time I visit the area.

Was here for lunch recently. It was quiet on a Monday afternoon. Service was excellent and we got our orders taken. Food turned out to be quite good . We took the set menu as there were good options to choose from . Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend this place. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful lake with lots of birds/ducks etc swimming in the lake.

Lunch on a Monday and it didn’t disappoint. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the Wilyabrup Brook was flowing rapidly and the restaurant warm and welcoming with stunning views on the river. Service was excellent especially as the waitress told us she was quite new. She was pleasant, efficient and very eager to please. The food was delicious with ample serving sizes. We ordered the Charcuterie, the seafood pasta and sticky date and all was delicious. Very enjoyable experience

Staff were friendly; food was ok appropriate value for the money.

Premises are as should be expected. Atmosphere was great. Appropriate level of atmospheric chatter.

We go to Flutes regularly whenever we are “in town “. It reliably delivers a great lunch dining experience.

😃Please don’t go you’ll spoil it for us. 🤣

Had a great lunch here the other day. Beautiful sitting out on the deck and wasn’t too hot; we also had the option of dining inside. We had seafood & soba noodle salad / sesame crusted tuna loin for entrees, and both had ocean trout for mains. All dishes were fantastic and excellent service, gardens well kept and easy to get to. Would love to come back to this place to see what it’s like in the winter and to taste everything else on the menu. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience in every aspect on a Sunday. The $75 charge for 3 course meal was excellent value and there was a lot of choice on the menu. Staff were friendly and efficient. Wide selection of wines too.

If you’re looking for a special venue to host your upcoming event, look no further than Flutes in Margaret River. As a wedding photographer (James Sparrow Photography), I recently had the pleasure of working at this beautiful venue and was impressed by its beautiful views, excellent amenities, and friendly staff. It's a perfect place for any celebration.

Wonderful lunch @ Flutes. Kirsty our host was absolutely fantastic. Recommended a great wine (Brookland Reserve Cab Sab) to go with the exceptional food - duck leg - succulent and sublime in taste, only matched by an excellent lamb cutlet (medium rare). A must visit!

We had a work function at Flutes and I must say, the view from the restaurant is so picturesque and the gardens would be amazing to walk around in warmer weather.

The food was delicious and the Spiced Duck was sensational. It was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The Rośe offered was really nice. Thanks Pan and the team for taking care of our table.

One of Margaret River's gems. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back soon!

Nestled away in some beautiful grounds, we went for lunch and had the $80 lunch menu.
Family of 4 with older teen-agers.
We had a 3 course meal and couldn't fault either the food, wine or service.
Normally I like to compare what we all order to see which dish was a standout. This meal had 4 outstanding dishes reach time.
We had marron, duck spring rolls, arancini for entree.
Main was salmon, beef cheek gnocchi, lamb and seafood pasta.
Each dish was cooked to perfection, the chefs creations were outstanding.
Dessert was a chocolate mousse, creme brulee, panna cotta, a vegan fruit crumble with sorbet.
Service was prompt, efficient and the arrival of the dishes sufficiently staggered.
I would definately recommend and would return.

Impromptu Sunday lunch. This place is now open for 7 days a week but only for lunches. I had the duck main and creme brulee for desert. Both dishes were very tasty and great portion size. We did order garlic bread for starter which unfortunately arrived at the same time as the main. Venue is lovely, overlooking the lake, with plenty of light, our waitress was lovely and attentive. Will visit again.

Beautiful location and great food. I had my birthday lunch here, we didn't book a table in advance or tell anyone that it was my birthday but the waitress was so sweet, polite and just so attentive that I felt eternally grateful for her service as I was not having a great day before that. Our meals didn't take long to arrive and everything was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a must try. It was a first visit for me and third for my mom and she said it has always been so nice and she picked it for my birthday lunch for a very good reason, perfect serene spot with the beautiful view. A few gorgeous fairywrens visited us as well when we were having desserts, can't wait to go back.

What an experience! Great wine, great view, great service!

We both had the confit duck (served with Asian greens and rice) which was thoroughly enjoyable.

After the plates were cleared I noticed a fellow who patron had ordered the steak... Served on a mash with a portabello mushroom and a lovely jus.... So I ordered that too.

Would I go back? I want to go back now!

Randomly selected Flutes from the entertainment card and was soooo impressed. The gardens are lush and green and makes you reconsider your own garden. Excellent tucker! We ordered the fish trio and the steak. Service was great.

great fun lunch for 5 at flutes. food was very good and had a lot of really interesting flavours. the bread was great and i had 'wild goat' for the main and really enjoyed it. they had very reasonably priced drinks specials and we used the entertainment book to get the price down to a surprisingly low level for such good food in a spectacular setting. one of the best!

Everything was perfect. The estate, ambience, service and food is top notch. Pictured here is Apple cider braised shredded pork; duck spring rolls; beef carpaccio; seafood fettuccini pasta; mi-cuit ocean trout; pavlova. The Brookland Valley Estate Chardonnay is really enjoyable and I would recommend buying some at the cellar door as its out of stock in many places.
