Flutes Escape

This is one of the best airbnb i ever visit in Australia. The host is so nice, the equipment is so top of the range. The bedroom is amazing. There is nothing to say about this place other than perfection for holiday house to enjoy with your family and friends.

Immaculate property nestled in a bushland setting divided into 3 separate wings if required. Each is beautifully appointed with large open fireplace in the main residence with large screened entertaining area. Superb modern bathrooms, king sized beds and kitchens have good quality dinnerware and appliances. Walking trails are lovely and a short walk to Flutes restaurant. A superb property with a lovely ambience . Highly recommended.

Amazing location, however can’t justify $1200 a night. The house is built with 3 separate wings and a central living room/kitchen for families to comfortably stay and everything you need is supplied within, no need to bring the kitchen sink. BBQ on the deck and fully functional kitchen. Heating was bliss.
However, the bathrooms were disappointing - bad spa design (the bottom of the spa is literally concave so you can’t submerge your body) and low water pressure in the showers. Needs a mini facelift to fittings.
Surrounding the house is native bushland, nice to sit and watch the birds play in the mornings as you chill on the various porches.
Gardens/walkways around the house look like they are maintained every few months - honkeynuts, excessive slippery moss and leaves on the porch and walk ways so mind your step.
Quiet location, lots of gardens near the main (owners?) house for photo shoot opportunities.

Bad: Deceitful reason for withholding bond, dishwasher is broken and doesn't clean, water runs off the kitchen sink, BBQ is cheap and unstable.
Good: Location is nice and secluded, big house, bathrooms are nice and modern, rooms are great size and clean, pizza oven is great.

They deducted $200 from our bond to wipe milk stains from one couch which we didn't cause. When we asked for the invoice, we got a dodgy invoice with incorrect details and were charged for leather protection to 6 couches! We tried to follow this up many times but got no response. We have reported this to WA Department of Commerce.
