The Cafe

We found this cafe to be quite peaceful and not too much foot traffic which was great. The service was very nice and all staff were very friendly. The food came out and the presentation was lovely and the overall taste of our meals was great. Definitely worth the price we paid and we will definitely be back in the future!

Came here for a quick breakfast while staying at nearby hotel. The staff were super friendly and were very helpful. We ordered fish tacos, brekkie burger, eggs bennedict, chicken sandwich and some milkshakes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a coffee or a bite in the area.

I've been waiting for a great cafe in Shoal Bay for years. Coffee and food is well priced and fantastic - just what you want after an early morning swim.
Other options in Shoal Bay are ok these days, but not as easy going and good value as The Cafe.

Love the menu here, offers something different than the near by places. Food is flavorful, service is friendly and welcoming. Will continue to come back.

The best bacon and egg roll in Shoal Bay! Coffee is also good. If you are looking for a simple but enjoyable brekkie then The Cafe is worth a visit. Customer service is great and the view is great. You can hear the waves lapping up the shores.

I came in to grab a coffee with my partner and Jenna the lovely lady who served us makes the best coffees in shoal bay, her customer service is wonderful and served with a smile every time. Keep up the amazing work

The poached eggs were perrrrrrrfect! The staff were so accommodating....

Very delayed review but better late than never! Ordered 2 cakes here for my mothers surprise 60th back in February and they couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and very enthusiastic! I ordered a carrot cake and a lime and coconut both iced. Very reasonably priced and so so tasty! Very greatful for a pleasant stress free experience - so thank you Team at The Cafe Shoal Bay! (Unfortunately I only have a picture of the carrot cake)

We love this place on a Sunday morning. Simple menu but food is excellent and service is always great! Views to die for!!

Bought the bacon and egg roll and smashed avo. The roll was made perfectly with plenty of bacon and an amazing brioche bun. The smashed avo was also immaculate with fresh ingredients and excellent flavour. Thanks all well done!

Had the best offering along the foreshore in our opinion. They roast the beans on site and have an excellent coffee. We had the classic bacon+egg rolls, smashed avo and feta, and the eggs bene. Everyone very pleased and super tasty. Highly recommend. Also the owners are lovely people and we’ll be back for sure

Came in with low expectations as we spontaneously decided to have a quick fix. Glad we walked in. Was almost like fate. Cakes looked delicious, After finding out they baked them themselves. I asked for slice of all their cakes. The cakes came with a massive scoop of ice cream. Then they new we were tourists and told us some secret spots. That just leveled up our holiday from being just okay to OMG we gotta come again. They were so friendly and at peace. Maybe I would move here and open a cafe when I retire as well....PS Ice coffee is crazy good.

Came for the coffee and stayed for the banana bread. They do gluten free as well.

Without a doubt, the greatest tasting mushrooms I have ever eaten! Service with a smile, very friendly and prompt.

Excellent breakfast options with reasonably good portions. We had a big breakfast and the mushroom panini. Both were really good and well prepared.
