Loved this cellar door. Knowledge staff member, delicious wines and cool music theme to wine names and brand. Wines are reasonably priced and plenty to choose from. 🍷

Great location, friendly team members and the wine was superb. If you go to yarri at Dunsborough beforehand you get 15% discount on the wine. Cellar door has great outdoor location where you can bring your own hamper or have the team create you one at the cellar.

I have always driven past here without going in and now realise what a mistake I have been making. We were taken here on a wine tour. They have great wine and the seated wine tasting was well done.

Loved S&H! Drank their wine before at Yarri, but visiting the cellar door is definitely worth it. Hopefully you get Alex — he was great! Stayed open late for us, and was an absolute cracker! Bought loads of wine + T-shirts and games. Can’t wait to go back!

Duo Tony “Snake” Davis (with over 25 years’ winemaking experience) and Redmond “Herring” Sweeny (a wine connisseur with experience in marketing and sales) met in 2011, collaborated and Snake and Herring The Wine Odyssey was created.

Their wines are an expression of the individual styles and music choices, with their wines being named after some classic songs, such as....
Tainted Love (a delicious rose)
Perfect Day (a punchy SBS)
At First Sight (a tasty Grenache)
Cannonball (a full bodied mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)
Just to name a few.

Along with their delectable wines they have quite a retail selection too - t-shirts, caps, wooden garden games, jewellery and have a small selection of cheeses etc for a DIY picnic in their shady outdoor area.

Why not taste their wines, buy a bottle and enjoy it while playing some outdoor games. Or sit back and enjoy the tranquillity while the kids play in the play area. Dogs welcome here also.

We visited this small winery whilst driving around Margaret River trying different ones. Their wines are excellent. They offer you free tasting of their "wines of the month" so we got to try 9 in total and afterwards couldn't stop ourselves from buying a couple of bottles. The staff are really helpful and friendly. This is quite a new winery but definitely worth a visit if you're in Margaret river!

Sometimes I can have a reaction to gluten from wine due to the barrels being sealed with wheat paste. So I asked the staff member and she went and checked with the winemaker to make sure and said they don't use wheat paste in theirs which is great. They were so helpful about it and didn't make me feel difficult, great customer service.

The customer service from liz and the team at S&H is sensational. I won a snake and herring wine package through a charity event, unfortunately try as I may to claim the wine through the charity I was constantly stone walled and had no luck. I happened to be down south and stopped into the cellar door to discuss my issue direct with the S&H team and from that moment the process was a breeze. Within a week I had confirmation it had been sorted, the following day received a tracking number for the wine and two days later had it on my door step. I can not reiterate enough how good the customer service is here, also the wine is top notch too! 👌👍
