We ordered the Mao Cai Style with mushrooms and noodles. It's $16 but it's big enough for 2 people. The chilli broth is really tasty. It was spicy but really good and you can't stop eating it. So good 🤤 Service was quick too. Would recommend especially if you like spicy food 👌

This place has set the bar for dumpling restaurants for me. All the wait staff are so polite, which took me by surprise because service is normally neglected at cheap Chinese restaurants. Then the dumplings, oh my goodness! The casing wasn't too chewy, the meat didn't fall apart, just amazing. Definitely will be coming back.

Hands down my favourite Shanghai dumpling restaurant! This place does some of the best Sheng Jian bao and pork dumplings I’ve tried in Melbourne - the filling is super juicy with so much soup, even until the next day!

They also sometimes have savoury and sweet mooncakes stocked in their freezer - I’d definitely recommend getting yourself some if they’re available! You can bake them in the oven at home and they are super delicious, with a flakey crispy shortbread style pastry.

Located opposite Preston Market on High Street and next to Bendigo bank, this Chinese restaurant offers a la carte dishes as well as a section for hot pot.

Their menu includes dumplings, spicy lamb, pork belly, braised beef brisket, fried rice, steam pork buns, and various noodle dishes.

There's parking available on the main road, and around the corner.

I come here regularly, the spicy wok is yum, I have the dry version with fish usually, but I've tried them all and they are all delicious. I add fried slice rice cake and whatever else I'm feeling like. I share this with my partner (as it easily feeds 2) while my kids eat dumplings or fried rice.
The dumplings are yummy. And the kids love the fried rice.

A quick note menu has changed during pandemic, no set menu or soups anymore, you choose your own ingredients for spicy wok and dumplings are now back on the menu.

Definitely go for the spicy wok, either the dry or soup base. The fried fish fillets have a fantastic texture from the soft centres to crisp and chewy ends, delicious! The sweet potatoes noodles are another great addition. Service is fast and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. A single spicy wok will feed two people, making this a great place to drop in with friends to share a meal.

Fried rice and pork belly and xiaolongbao were all amazing! Great overall vibe, not too many table, and food came out wuick! Will be back again soon!

Love the pork dumplings! They are juicy and full of flavour. So delicious. I don't even need to add sauce. The fried rice is also very good. Not too salty or oily. Just nice.

That was my first time trying Miss Zhou's Spicy Hot Pot, it was tons of ingredients and i was clueless, the waiter there explained to me politely and helped me with the procedures. Will go back again. Thanks Jack.

I have been coming to Miss Zhao's for about a year now and am always impressed with the quality and freshness of their dumplings. On this occasion, there was a female patron that began chanting racial slurs towards other customers. The wait staff immediately and professionally asked her to leave and even apologized to the rest of us patrons! I was so impressed with their professionalism and ability to handle that situation. Miss Zhao's constantly provides delicious meals is highly recommended.

We love the spicy hot wok, you can choose whatever goes into you dish, seafood, veggies, meats..
my son also likes the Pan Fried Juicy Pork Bun (生煎包）， just like to ones we ate overseas!
Highly recommended if you like traditional Shanghainese food.

The best in Melbourne! You've got to get the Scipy Wok and Sheng Jian Bao

The panfried dumplings were crispy and juicy. The fillings was made of mince pork with hint of ginger.

The noodle so silky and oily sleek. But the braised pork is yummy.

We also ordered the Hot and Spicy Wok, spicy yes!! I will comeback to try the Maocai next time.

50 buckaroos for two, well worth it.

This restaurant mainly does malatan, which is not common in the northern suburbs. There is a decent selection is ingredients, looking very fresh. The service is very friendly. The pan fried dumpling is very juicy.

.. we've been coming to Miss Zhou for more than 4 years . .it's consistently brilliant .. the crew are patient and helpful, the dumplings are the best in Preston (and possibly the world !), the pick-your-ingredients setup for stir-fry or in-soup works really well, the spicy levels can be a surprise, so step DOWN on yr spiciness order until you are used to it .. BTW, I'm typing this while we wait for our dinner ...AT MISS ZHOU ...

We’ve been here twice now and loved it both times. Fantastic Szechuan food at a brilliant price and great service. I highly recommend these guys. Tremendous value.

It's the best wonton and spicy pot I've ever eaten in Australia, and every time I come from box hill it takes 20 kilometers, and I think seriously not to worry about the distance, I'm looking forward to it every time
