Hot dang, Dirk and I just found our new favourite breakfast spot. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty.

Dirk had just returned from his annual holiday to Bonnie Doon so it was great to catch up over breakfast. We both had the chilli scrambled eggs and the presentation and flavour were both absolutely divine. I had a milkshake and asked if it could be made into a thickshake, not only were the staff ready to take on this challenge they went above and beyond. The thickshake was sublime. Thick and Chocolately, just yummo!

Thank you Mary Miller your café is my favourite.

I've had brunch here twice now. The first time I had the pork eggs benedict. I remarked to my significant other that this is up there with how I would make it if I could be bothered to make it at home. Which I can't. The base layer is crispy hash browns, pulled pork, eggs, delicious hollandaise. Something refreshing was a salad on the side, it had maybe a lebanese twist to it. Fantastic. The second time I had the chili egg scramble. Also delicious and packs a little punch! If you can handle a little spice wrap your laughing gear around these sensational dishes. The second time my friend also asked the friendly server if he could make the milkshake a thickshake. This wasn't normally what they do so he said he would try his best. My friend is always very critical of thickshakes, he's a bit of a shake snob to be honest. He knows what he likes. After his first sip I looked up at him and asked how it was, fully expecting him to say something not positive. He uttered the words "This is remarkable" which is such a rare occurrence. I can't believe it. You should consider putting thickshakes on the menu. Great job. Great food and friendly staff. I'll be back here lots!

Stiff competition for the title of best cafe in an area with some fabulous ones, but Mary Miller wins for me with some of the most delicious, flavorful food on offer. Particularly big fan of the chicken curry which can rival some of the best Sri Lankan restaurants in the city, as well as the excellent pork benedict. Warm service and consistently great coffee are a bonus!

❤: Perfect for anywhere, be it at home or a little picnic. I really loved the 🌭 Sausage Rolls, 🫐🥩 Blueberry Brisket Petite Loaf, and 🥧 Beef Pie, especially after I rebake it a little. But my favorites were definitely the SWEETS 🤤😍. The scones were so good with cream and jam, and the 🤎🍰 Sticky Date Cakes were to die for!

We were invited to a beautiful brunch at Mary Miller Cafe over the weekend. Just look how beautifully their dishes are presented and they tasted so delicious! We had the:

1. Shakshuka baked eggs - rich, comforting tomato spiced sauce, runny poached eggs, hazelnut dukkah, soujouk and labneh toast. Comfort food at its maximum.

2. Hot chicken sando with pulled roast chicken, fried egg, Harvati cheese, tomato, snow pea tendrils, rocket and onion with a side of chips - So filling and satisfying

3. Waffles with ice cream - this was very well-balanced, not overly sweet but chocolatey, creamy, tangy from the raspberries - very indulgent and beautiful.

The service was so friendly and the interior is newly renovated and very inviting. Highly recommended! Thank you Mary Miller Cafe for the feed 🙏🏻

Lured here by the beautiful presentation often seen on Instagram, this place deserves its high rating. Friendly greeting on entry, we were quickly given our seats, menus and water. Offering a range of cafe fare with some international additions, we soon placed our orders and settled back to wait.

The Bibimbap with beef Bulgogi was well presented and deliciously flavoursome. Succulent pieces of Bulgogi beef combined with a wholesome range of ingredients. The kewpie mayo and Bibimbap sauces blended to a lightly tangy taste, making this dish satisfying and comforting. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his Club Chicken Sandwich.

Casual cafe atmosphere with calming floral murals throughout, it's great for the relaxing weekend brunch. Friendly and efficient service throughout the visit. This neighbourhood gem is worth returning for the high quality food and attention to presentation.

I would hate to own a cafe in Melbourne. The stakes are getting higher and higher. I don't know what the purple mush on my plate was or what was in the big breakfast past the obvious. Even the baked beans were not your typical can variety. All for like 20 bucks. Can't go wrong. Oj was not sour either, big bonus. Pics don't lie.

One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne!

This place is a must go.

I get asked a lot where should I go for brunch if I’m in Melbourne? And a cafe which is always on the list is Mary Miller.

I love the cafe vibe, the food is great. I’m a personal trainer, I do like keep pretty healthy and something I really appreciate Mary Miller is they don’t cover everything in oil especially the sides. The mushrooms, spinach, kale, tomatoes all manage to keep a fresh taste and presentation whilst being delicious.

The menu has something for everyone, the cafe is bright and vibrant.

I love it

Been here a few times now and the coffee always delivers, very smooth! I've also eaten the mexi bowl and a couple of paninis and it all tasted great.

Mary Miller is a cafe located along Miller Street, Fitzroy. The restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk from tram stop. It is a nice place to chill with family and friends on a weekend. The environment is comfortable and conducive. The choices for brunch is limited but the food is very delicious. The berry pancakes is a must try! The beverages including coffee, matcha, taro latte are average. Do check me out on my instagram @ roshan_arjun for more feeds. Cheers!

Honestly, the best burger I’ve ever had!!

FOOD: I ordered the Vegan Chicken Pop Burger and if I’m gonna be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever eaten vegan chicken and this burger is probably the best burger I’ve ever had in my entire life, I’m not even exaggerating 🤣 I am personally a huge fan of popcorn chicken and I thought why not give a vegan burger a chance and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I would take this vegan burger over every other burger I’ve ever had. The vegan chicken actually tasted like vegan chicken, the spicy mayo was phenomenal and was actually spicy, the batter of the vegan popcorn chicken was PERFECTION and the sweet potato fries is one of the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had and with that spicy mayo?? Heaven! 🤤 The matcha burger was a very subtle but pleasant addition and tbh it looks GORGEOUS. Both food and presentation wins the biggest A+ for a burger I’ve ever given!

SERVICE: Pleasant service!

Mary Miller’s rating doesn’t come without serving up to its standards! The burger is really something else and something so special! It’s so great how they’re doing something that vegans and meat eaters can enjoy!

Booked for a Sunday breakfast. Great selection of food, I went for the traditional bacon and scrambed eggs, my partner had the miso smashed avo and the kids had Bacon and eggs (poached). Everything was perfectly cooked, food arrived quickly and service was excellent. Kids enjoyed the marshmellows in their hot chocolate. Would definitely come back.

What a gem of a place!

I usually stick to St George’s Street for all my Fitzroy north eats, but I’m so glad I made it out to here! Def worth checking out!

Bright and inviting exterior and interior with an added bonus of a courtyard - perfect for those summer balmy days. 🌿

Really appreciate that they had both brunch and lunch options - so everyone is happy!

It is an Asian inspired menu, specifically Balamise/Thai? Although, I thought Korean since I ordered the Beef Bulgogi (yummmy!). Seems like they have a rotating menu or is constantly creating new dishes. I also ordered the Tropical Smoothie, which was nice and refreshing! Didn’t feel like it was heavy at all like some smoothies. And from the looks of things, every dish is very picturesque and instagram worthy! 📸

Def interested in coming back again! Thanks for the hospitality 😊
