A great place to spend a couple of hours. This is a fascinating history of the local farming community. The displays are really well done and arranged by topic context in this free museum. An unexpected treat.

I've been wanting to stop here and take my time for years, but am always so rushed. This place is just beautiful. Local history covering yesteryear, shearing, flora, fauna plus the visitor centre, Cafe next door. A gorgeous display of freshly picked (with pickers license) wildflowers and native orchids that smelled divine. A really interesting stop and browse and well worth it.

It was an unexpected stop as we travelled from Albany to Perth. But it gave our journey home an extra experience which we greatly appreciated - it is a special place which we intend to come back to and spend more time there in order to do it justice 🙂

The Kodja place is an absolute must visit! It acknowledges and shares the important stories, history and culture of local Noongar people. Displays are educational and interactive to keep children engaged. Staff are so amazingly welcoming and helpful too.

Very insightful museum. Particularly liked the maze outside, which showcases the stories of three women from Kojonup, a Noongar, an English, and an Italian. Stories of mistrust and segregation.
