I recently had to cancel my wedding plans at Woodburn Homestead due to unforeseen personal circumstances, and while I never got to experience the venue on my special day, I felt compelled to share my experience with their team.

From the moment I booked Woodburn Homestead, the staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warmth. They were always responsive, accommodating, and truly cared about making my wedding day perfect. Even when things took an unexpected turn for me, their kindness and support were unwavering.

The empathy and understanding I received during such a difficult time are a testament to the wonderful people behind this beautiful venue. Woodburn Homestead is not just a stunning location; it's run by individuals who genuinely care about their clients.

Woodburn Homestead was our perfect venue. From the moment we looked at it we fell in love with it. We feel so lucky to have had our day here. The whole process has been amazing from start to finish & the team were so friendly, helpful & amazing! Our guests loved the venue too. This place is just stunning to witness a beautiful couple hold their Wedding Day. The atmosphere was there the moment we stepped out of our cars & continued throughout the day to every different area we were in, which was 4 btw. The drinks were served cold & the food hot with smiles on the staff's face. Will definitely be spreading the word about this one 😍

One week on from our daughter Katie and son-in-law Matt’s amazing wedding at Woodburn Homestead and we continue to smile. We can’t thank Cindy and her amazing team enough and we couldn’t have dreamt of a better venue and all it has to offer. The beautiful old homestead in which the bridal party stayed for four nights was just the perfect place for the girls to get ready and the lighting for the photos was stunning.
The versatility of Woodburn with the old open air barn for the ceremony, the lawns and stable for the grazing table, canapés and chill out zone and then the back lawn for the marquee and our sit down ceremony for 100+ people and dance area - it was perfection.
And then there’s all the staff that worked tirelessly behind the scenes - Cindy, Mike, Mandy, Lucy, Lisa, all the amazing bar and other kitchen staff (I’m sorry that I can’t remember all their names) who were so helpful and friendly. So many of our guests commented on how all the food Cindy served was absolute top quality. Many of our guests said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and memories will last for ever.

Truely spectacular! It was the perfect space for us. We loved being able to move to different locations for different times of the day but all exceptionally close. The whole team were really easy to work with and took initiative on the day, ensuring a smooth fuss free day.

Woodburn Homestead is an AMAZING wedding venue. It is one of my favourite wedding venues!!! The open-air chapel is breathtaking, on-site photo locations are stunning, and the food is delicious! Cindy and the team are phenomenal and do a fantastic job in making everything run perfect.You will LOVE it!

Tucked away along the Angas River is a beautiful character homestead with rustic barn and gardens that has heritage Australian charm for miles. Woodburn Homestead forms such a beautiful and versatile setting that our couples love and it always has us pumped for a well appointed country wedding. This is by FAR the most beautiful and breathtaking wedding venue in all of SA. The staff are all so welcoming, kind, and truly do an amazing job at making your day as special as possible. I could not fault this placed if i tried, Woodburn is a MUST if you are looking at tying the knot, you will not be disappointed! xx

Mate of mine had his wedding here. Maybe I'm biased but I love old heritage places that get decked out to hold functions and gatherings. Absolutely love this place. So rustic and full of rich history when you start diving into the past of this place. Highly recommend for anybody looking to get married. Go check it out. Staff were excellent hosts.

My Mother grew up here in the 1930's...The Rose Family. Great to see it fully restored.

An amazing venue. We did the High Tea. Wonderful service and very yummy food. The history tour topped it all off. Congratulations Cindy and staff on a fabulous destination venue.

As a member of the Adelaide wedding industry for 10 years I have visited and worked at so many incredible locations, but I must say Woodburn ticks all the boxes for me. From the beautiful and very well appointed homestead accomodation to the gorgeous and flexible event space run by some of the best in the biz I honestly don’t think you could go past this stunning venue for your next function or your wedding. The feedback I get from my couples about this venue is always glowing and I could not recommend Woodburn more highly!

Six of us shared an exclusive Secret Cellar 5-course dinner at the beautiful and charming Woodburn Homestead. The food and wine were top class and the location was just wonderful. Very privileged to stay at this unique historic homestead.

We had our wedding recently at woodburn homestead. We had a fantastic experience with this amazing venue. The staff were extremely helpful and well organised. Cindy and Jess well above and beyond to ensure the wedding ran smoothly and my wife had everything she needed while getting ready.
