Will be coming back. So clean and tidy. Well decorated with the most amazing glass table that looks down into a deeply lit well. Food was tasty and super fresh. The meat was good quality. Lovely staff that were all polite and friendly. Great experience.

This place is a hidden gem.
Great new owners who have done an incredible job of restoring the pub to modern-day glory whilst paying ode to the history of the building. Family owned. Amazing chef pulls regular delicious good food. Great atmosphere and modern music options.

Went for lunch to celebrate my parents 70th Wedding Anniversary, who were married in Hamley Bridge.
The staff went above and beyond to make the day special, friendly, generous with their time speaking to my parents about the history of the pub. Beautiful food , steak cooked perfectly, delicious salt and pepper squid and chicken schnitzel. Thank you, we will visit again !!!

Had a wonderful catch up with family today. The publicans were lovely, really looked after us. Amazing reno (make sure to check out their story book)
Had the beef schnitzel with mash and veg it was tender, crumbs perfect.

Frequent this venue quite often! The atmosphere keeps me coming back! The food is always spot on, the staff are absolutely wonderful and an overall enjoyable place for a drink!

Best chicken burger I’ve had! Best schnitzel I’ve had! It’s a winner every time. Really liked the all day Sunday dining too! Great friendly staff and a great family friendly atmosphere. Great place to visit if you’re in the area!

What an awesome pub, Brian and Kirsty made us feel welcome from the get go, the meals were all terrific, the carbonara was amazing. Taylor makes a tasty Jameson, Brian from the bridge cracked me up. Even met Shaun from the shire! A very warm, friendly place to go for a good meal and a few drinks!

Have the best chicken schnitzels, gravy is creamy and flavoursome.
The chicken is moist, veg and salad fresh.

A friend recommended I visit this renovated pub as the food and owners are excellent. I organised an Australia Day lunch with the help of owners Kirsty & Bryon for our Gawler 4wd Club. The dining room is very comfortable and all 18 of us had good things to say about the food. Chef Adrian has created a good range on the menu including 1/2 serves so you can enjoy entrees and dessert. With two other car clubs visiting, they were very busy, but the food quality, speedy and friendly service was kept up. We will recommend far and wide and return!

Our second time here. If we lived closer it would be a lot more often. The renovations have been done and it's a credit to the owners. Very welcoming people and generous meals. Choose your own music 😁 We played Cold Chisel.

Great food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

The meal was well made. The open yiros was so tasty and the chicken schnitzel was very tasty and very good size even the half size option. The schnitzel you have the option to have 1/2 size or full size. The bar staff are very nice and friendly.

Beautiful old pub which has been beautifully renovated and the publicans and there daughters are lovely people.

The owner is passionate about the pub and all the upgrading and renos that he has done, and he should be. He has done an incredible job, the food was awesome, well a second and third visit. We will be back

Wow! We were made extremely welcome from the moment we walked in 😊 All of the staff were friendly and polite.The interior of the hotel has been renovated and looks amazing. The Menu had seafood, steak, mixed grill, schnitzels, salad and veg. The pork schnitzel was hand crumbed and the veggies were perfect 😋 Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The owners were friendly, helpful & courteous. They bought the hotel about 1 year ago & after months of renovations it opened 7 months ago. They proudly showed us their progress book which was amazing.
The food was cooked to perfection. I had HAND crumbed chicken schnitzel with fresh vegetables. John had a real country meat mixed grill. Well done Chef.
We shall be back & bring our friends.
