We love it here it is most certainly worth the drive. The schnitzels are top notch and super filling so bring your stretchy pants. The value for money is amazing the schnitzels are massive. Do yourself a favour and go for a drive.

Delicious Chicken Schnitzel with Hunter sauce.

Another visit. Had the Beef Schnitzel with Garlic seafood topping. Was the best seafood topping of all time.
Another visit and had the Butter chicken Schnitzel, Yummy.

Next visit had the Cheeseburger topping on Chicken schnitzel. Was good.

Tried the Chicken schnitzel yesterday with 3 Pig topping. Was good, although this one beat me as I was full and couldn't finish it.

Fantastic customer service.
Great air conditioning on a warm day.
Not too long wait for delicious food.
Kids chicken schnitzel was huge.
Main schnitzels were a big size, great topping. Ended up with a doggy bag of leftovers.
Salad was extremely fresh.
Great atmosphere. Couldn't complain about any element of our visit.

Omg the schnitzels are out of this world!! Great prices on food an drinks and the staff are sooo friendly...make sure you book to avoid disapointment.

My first time in Freeling and my lasting impression of The Gungellan Hotel is... "Bloody Awesome!" 😁

From the moment we arrived this pub looked and felt inviting (especially for city folk) and was greeted by a very bubbly lady who recommended some great loaded parmi schnitzels (the smoked gun and the kranksky).

Fast and friendly service, absolutely delicious meals (best Parmi I've had) and very well priced, plus great serving sizes.

What a ripper of a pub. Rocked up off the street looking for a feed for 23 ppl with no booking and friendly staff were more than accommodating. Schnitzel’s & toppings are awesome and prices haven’t changed since Becky used to work in the bar in 2003.

Had lunch here today with some interstate friends, they said this is the best snitty the had on their travels so far!

We were seated outside (by choice) as we had dogs, was a bit warm, an outdoor fan would have been great but don't let that put you off. Meals and service were great!

If you are coming please get a schnitzel. Toppings were fresh and hot. The lady who served us was bubbly and pleasant to be around. Great kids menu also. Good ambience

I ordered the beef schnitzel with egg and bacon with the BBQ sauce I left completely full as and the meal was beautifully cooked and very nice will definitely be returning highly recommend 👌

Can't fault any of it. Good meals at a fantastic price. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly made a huge difference also.

Fantastic service!, I had the meatlovers parmi, the chicken was moist, the toppings where just balanced out right, and the chips where cooked perfect 👌 recommend coming on an empty stomach as the proportion sizes are quite large. Highly recommended 11/10

The best value menu at the Gunny! A whole menu for the schnitty toppings. Schnitzels cooked well. Nice chips and salad and friendly, welcoming staff. We'll be back!!
