Point Turton Caravan Park

Thank you to the friendly people running this very busy park, who found us a spot to park our camper so we could stay the night and celebrate with our friends, we really appreciated it. Congratulations on a lovely, neat and tidy, well run park . We will certainly recommend you.

A great caravan park at the foreshore of Yorke Peninsula. Welcoming with friendly staff during check-in. Good spacious campsite for larger van. Watet front sites are spectacular overlook at jetty & beach view. Amenities in the central of campsite, very clean open or can be enclosed camp kitchen. BBQ hotplates at open space with tables & benches.

Camp, caravan, cabin or pod you won't be disappointed. A great place for a quick get away or long stay. There is so much to see at Yorkes or just enjoy the surroundings without going anywhere.
Yoy may even get all 4 seasons in just a few days.

We parked up here for 8 nights and had the absolute best time! The location is stunning with dolphins keen to follow your boat right at the boat ramp. The amenities are immaculate, after staying at many parks, these are hotel grade clean. The camp kitchen was a lifesaver when we ran out of gas, massive clean kitchen, toaster/microwave/fridge all clean & good to use. The sites, beautifully maintained. The laundry room was great. Washing machine & dryer to use with just a few gold coins.
We also found the people there to be so kind, not only the staff/owners (who were too kind) but the people staying, we made so many friends during our stay who gave us plenty of advice, places to see even some yummy recipes! Can’t rave more about this place, my partner, Pup & I can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing place. Can’t get much closer to the water with a van. Hosts are wonderful people and very helpful and accomodating with all questions. 11 out of 10.

This is one of our favourite caravan parks! The location is THE BEST!! Dani & Malcom are wonderful. The park is in immaculate condition. The camp kitchen, laundry and bathrooms are fantastic and always clean. Make sure you book well in advance (a few months a least - more if it’s a public holiday or holidays) as they book out quickly!

Such a lovely place! We just had a 3 night stay in one of the luxpods with our 11m old baby. It had everything you would need for a little get away, it was clean and had nice modern features. The owners were so friendly and accomodating, just good people. We will definitely be coming back!

After spending Easter at an overly busy caravan park previous years we decided to stay at point turton this Easter and I’m so glad we did!! Our families and my husband , kids and I had a beautiful grassy Seaview powered site, a very clean deluxe cabin with again a beautiful sea view for the parents and also a very swanky luxe pod for the grandparents! Every bit of accommodation was flawless! The park is super clean, close to some of the most beautiful beaches and walking distance to the tavern.
Dani and Malcolm are the nicest, most accommodating and welcoming park owners we have ever come across and nothing is too much trouble! We had one of us have a fall after trying to give one of the kids a piggy back and unfortunately hit the ground head first, after calling and waiting for the ambulance, a lovely guest staying at the park “Jodie” who was an ambulance worker came over to help us and also was Dani the park owner over and a young girl to help us, this was absolutely wonderful to have such kind hearted caring people rush over to help!
Highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here, all accommodation is great and it’s the most welcoming park!

Just spent 2 nights in one of their lux pods. Cleanliness was 110% and presentation was amazing, the unit was wheelchair friendly and had charging for EVs. This is our 3rd time at this park and it gets better all the time. The staff are amazing and beautiful sites for caravans. Highly recommend this park.

This caravan park is run by friendly managers and exceptional cleaning standards. The lawns had recently been re laid and seeded in preparation for the summer months. The park’s proximity to the jetty and beaches is a great attraction. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Used as base to look at the bottom of the Yorke, clean amenities and host are great.

This park is amazing, as are the lovely couple Mal & Danni who manage it. These guys are real people people who make everyone feel very welcome, it’s a great feeling. The grounds, ammenities & other facilities are so clean & so very well maintained. Absolutely cannot fault this park, added bonus apart from the location is being able to stay 7 nights for the price of 5 during the cold months. Thank you Point Turton.

A great small CP located right at the jetty. Really clean amenities, well equipped kitchen and great value for money. Appreciated the mobile BBQ on Tuesday night, good food at great prices. See you next year.

lovely little Caravan Park 50 sites and 8 waterfront sites, 10 deluxe cabins and 3 luxpods. Pets are allowed in the Caravan areas. Jetty and boat ramp adjacent to park with a Tavern a very short walk away.

Comfy clean cabin with beautiful views ... even when it's pouring with rain!

Beautiful, friendly, scenic. That sums up point Turton. We had a great stay here while touring the Yorke peninsula. Day trips galore including Innes conservation park, fishing, walks, kayaking. We were really impressed by the service and quality of the tavern, only a 5 minute walk from the park too. Wonderful place to stay more than a day.

Enjoyed all the time we had here. We were first timer campers (in a tent) and the owner reserved for us a good place overlooking the bay. Unfortunately, it was a stormy weekend and we did not really get to enjoy the night sky as we had the tent fully covered to protect us from the elements.
Setting aside our experience, the camping site is clean and pretty much has everything you need. The communal kitchen is spacious and is also a great place for mingling with other campers. Another bonus is that it is just on top of the jetty so an easy access for anyone wants to go for an early morning swim or fish.
Overall, I would recommend this caravan park, and I look forward to coming back again here (when the weather is more predictable).
