LUI BOSS PRESTON

Lui Boss is located in the heart of the Preston Market. It is a small restaurant but its food packs a punch and is great value.

Our table of 8 visited midday week and were a little surprised that we were the only patrons to visited the restaurant that night. We could see plenty of Uber Eats orders flying out the door.

We ordered prawn Mandoo (very similar to gyoza), and kimchi pancake to share, then each of our party ordered their own mains. Lots of lui boss burgers, kimchi fried rice, beef bulgogi and corn dogs were ordered. Also ordered the Korean fried chicken for the table. There was sooooo much food and it was all delicious! Just the right amount of spiciness. We also really enjoy the Soju cocktails…. Delicious!

The only issue some of the mains came out with the entrees and some of our party has to wait for mains whilst others tucked in.

I highly recommend Lui Boss for a great feed of Korean cuisine!

Love all the foods we had . Enjoyed the starter is prawn Gyoza 🥟 so yumm also corndog , and main food bulgogi beef spicy was surprisingly tasty so good and also fried chicken garlic soy was delicious 🤤 yummmn and the end food coma .

I’ve been coming to Preston market weekly for almost a year now. Finally got around to trying Lui Boss’ meals! And weeeeee absolutely love this place. I ordered the vegan fried chicken dish and the rest are your traditional meals. Sooooo flippin’ delicious. Lovely staff, timely service, great prices, delicious meals, a spot of sun outdoors on a beautiful day - I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for my delicious brunch today.

Oooh this was so good! It really hit the spot for my cravings of Korean fried chicken (ordered with soy garlic sauce on the side) and kimchi loaded fries!! I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. 🤤 Also, the honey yuzu mocktail was delicious!

Wow fantastic food here! Definitely a new favourite, best Korean food around that’s for sure. The cheese corn was the best I’ve ever had. The pricing is very reasonable as well which I was very surprised by because the food was of such a high standard. Would recommend for families, groups and couples. Will be back!!!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Servings are generous and full of flavour. Great selection and fresh ingredients. We had the kimchi fries (among other things), but as a lover of all things fried potato, they were amazing! We’ve eaten at the restaurant several times and can’t fault it!

I’m local and eat here a decent amount, both dine-in and Uber eats when I’m lazy. Always had a good experience.

My favourite lazy food is probably the smoky KFC. Delicious. They also often give me salad in a vain attempt to get me to eat healthy. I think I still have some in the fridge.

Compared to some of the local Viet places which receive inexplicably gushing reviews for very average food, this place deserves much higher. Quality is consistent and delicious. Staff are always hospitable and friendly. Probably my go-to in the area.

Great affordable dine-in. Best Korean food I’ve ever had. Excellent service, very attentive staff. Almost no wait since ordering food. We got everything we ordered right (no mixup). Highly recommended

The food was delicious, I tried chicken (Pic below) soft and tasty, a good portion for me that was starving that day. Also the environment (music, place and staff) was nice and friendly. I hope to go back to try more dishes

Great Korean restaurant. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. They also have an outdoor area which is good for when whether is nice. I also had takeaways here before and still really nice. My fav would be the wings as it’s full of flavor and crunchy on outside.

The menu is short and sweet, easy to find something for everyone. The starters were delish and the mains were a great mix and well balanced. The perfect place to introduce someone to Korean cuisine. It's a relaxed environment and the staff were really friendly, part of what makes this such an unexpected gem.

Delicious, fresh, good sized portions, friendly staff - one of my favourite local joints. They are open even on days the market is closed. Lunch menu $17 is pretty good value as well. Highly recommended.

Delicious Korea fry chicken with bone,we ordered wasabi onion and cheese garlic,the check is tender and juicy, all dishes are so yommy. Highly recommended. 😘

We have only ordered via Uber eats but having tried lui boss Preston, brunswick and northcote, we are confident to say Lui Boss Preston has the best taste and freshness with their food! Thank you for your amazing food!!

Great food and service. Had the kimchi fried rice and kimchi jijae and corn cheese. Good portions and reasonably priced.

Always good food! Boneless original chicken, spicy beef bulgogi and kim chi pancake for dinner. Service is good and food comes out fast.

Oh my god the Dduk Bul (beef stew) is amazing!!!! So tasty and very healthy ingredients. Generous amount of beef, veggies and tofu. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Without a doubt the best Korean Chicken I’ve ever tried. Their hamburgers are amazing and also their fried chicken (my favourite ones BBQ and honey & garlic). Also good veriety of drinks, can get some peach soju every time I go. Great service.
