Never have an issue coming here, you come in, you pick your number, ring the bell and take a seat. Try to see if there is any notices you need to know written on the wall, check their hours on Google and be prepared with your forms. And pay attention to Dr's instructions such as weather or not your sample needs to be collected during fasting, first thing in the morning, after food or if it doesn't matter. It's not their job to make surenyou follow clearly written instructions on the form

Seems like all the negative reviews are self created problems. If a Dr emails you a pathology for and you are not sure how to forward it to pathology, print it off. Some samples likebUrin and other types of blood samples have to be taken 1st thing in the morning with fasting
Don't blame pathology if they refuse past a certain time because they're not interested in waiting time and resources bc you can't follow your doctors instructions.

Well it's not their responsibility to make sure you are aware of what is clearly posted on the wall. You're sitting there waiting, put your Facebook away for 5 min and see if there is anything you need to know. English is Australia's national language, If you struggle with it, cool, bring someone with you to help, or ask one of the staff to assist you.

Quit blaming others because you can't be prepared or ignorantly assume that just because you took the day off work, you should be a priority service. It's a fist come fist serve system, don't want to wait, show up early

Suzanne is such a vibrant, affectionate & lovely human being. You rarely come across such people in the healthcare sector. She needs to deal with hundreds of patients daily, but still the cheerfulness that she carries is amazing! Her services are really good, she is very empathetic towards your needs and requests.

Susan and Damon have excellent customer service and are very competent and professional and always make me feel at ease. They draw blood without causing any pain or discomfort!!!

I’ve always had a great experience coming to this pathologist. During months of trying to conceive which means blood test after blood test I got to know the ladies well and they were always so welcoming and kind.
My sister has a huge phobia of needles so I brought her here and explained it to the pathologist and she was very receptive, kind and efficient.

I had a wonderful collection's nurse today. I told her that I have a phobia of my blood being removed, and she was so gentle and professional I barely felt it. Thank you

I have always been terrified of blood tests, however, Sue has been extremely supportive & understanding throughout my experience with Melbourne Pathology, not only is she professional & efficient she is always polite & patient. By far the best I have ever come across!

The pathologist was fantastic, barely felt the needle at all. I’ve had my blood taken by at least 15 different pathologists and she was one one the best. Additionally she was really trans friendly.

Doctor emailed my pathology form went to Preston outlet to have blood taken. Left my number pathologist rang to say she was ready. Went inside tried to get doctor's email on my phone. Pathologist started abusing telling me I had to email it to her and that it is written on the wall in the waiting room. I kindly told her that not everyone reads notices on walls. She then continued abusing me telling me how she's on her own people refusing to wear masks. I was fully masked by the way etc etc. I am not interested in your problems as you don't care about mine.this point I got up and told her that I would be leaving and going elsewhere. Firstly not everyone reads walls. Not everyone understands English. Not everyone knows how to email. I felt belittled by her for not reading walls. People generally get blood tests because they are ill and you turn them away. Shame on you. You turned a sick person away because of your behaviour. Shame shame shame on you and Melbourne pathology. Drove from mill Park to Preston to be abused. Never again Melbourne pathology. If I could give negative stars I would.

I have been to this place a few times just because its close to my home and every time they disapointed me.
1. Not reliable working hours, always some excuses why they have to close earlier.
2. Even though l took a day off from work to do my bloods, they didnt care, they just told me to come back tomorrow.
3. If you have to do urine test, they are not going to accept it after 12pm, even though their working hours are between 8am and 4:30pm.
4. There are always some weird rules that other Melb Pathologies do not have. It seems like one person runs this place and does whatever she wants.

If you want to avoid frustrations do not come here, please go somewhere else.

Poor service. Skipped my number and took someone else who got here after me.

If you need a pathologist on a Saturday morning, just go to reservoir.

The wait time is rediculous!
