Ordered Bento C. The portion is great in value and the skin of dumplings is so crispy and beef is juicy. Will definitely order again!

Hidden gem. Welcoming staff, hats off to the chef for delicious food. More people should visit this place. Highly recommended

Quaint little Japanese shop. Food is very affordable and tasty, the staff are lovely. Usually pretty quiet strore. Food is made fresh, and pretty quickly too. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed what was on offer.

I just discovered this place and love it so far! I thought there was no sushi available in preston until I came across sakana. The sushi is fairly prices and made fresh!! Very tasty. I am looking forward to trying the hot meals too :)

Ordered from here tonight, tried to create a #lockdown banquet. I have a seafood allergy and accidentally ordered a dish containing seafood. Restaurant was kind enough to customise the recipe for me, very much appreciated. Everything was excellent, very tasty

Try the eel don, it's amazingly delicious. I found that this shop has many many good dishes but also has some bad dishes too, so i gotta try them all and update my favourite dishes. Atm, the unadon(eel) is on top of my list.
Edit2: im back after 3 months eating here, now my favorite list has Beef teriyaki noodle soup, Katsu Curry Rice, crumble aji fish rice and ofc UNADON.

We recently made a very in-depth phone order at Sakana and there were no mistakes at all (from experience at other restaurants this is actually rare!)
We live nearby and love going to Sakana - it's great value and the meals are quite filling.

Nice cosy little shop. Genuine people with genuine Japanese food. Best part it's always cooked to order and tastes fresh.

Friendly service and great prices. I go past sometimes to get sushi for lunch, and the staff always offer to make me whatever type of sushi I’d like.

Ordered on Ubereats and got two bento boxes. A cheap, delicious and healthier option, for those nights when you don't want to cook. Will definitely order here again :)

Tasty food, fast service, reasonably priced - accepts card but has a fee system, orders over $30 have no fee and the fees otherwise are low and reasonable. Very accommodating with requests and polite customer service.

Had an appointment up the road and came in and was served very quickly, food was quick to come out, and it was delicious and amazing value for what I ordered! Great place!!

Very delicious food and not pricey. I paid $24.50 for a good curry katsu don and bento box.
