Kishore is extremely professional and dedicated to mat pilates. He pays attention to alignment and focusing on breath and ensuring you the most out of his sessions. A very strong abdominal, core and full body workout!! Thank you so much!! Can’t wait for the next session !

I have been doing a weekly Pilates class with Kishore for almost a year and I am writing this review now because I have been so impressed by Kishore’s knowledge and professionalism as an instructor. Through the year, I have noticeably developed muscle strength, flexibility, stability and balance, much needed for me as an older person. Kishore is thoughtful about each session, addressing any concerns or injury (such as successfully removing pain in my knee using toe and foot exercises), and he is careful to ensure good technique. I also enjoy the session very much. Kishore is open, approachable, friendly and encouraging, making the class a pleasure even when it's tough. Amazing!

Kishore is a friendly, professional and very knowledgeable pilates instructor. I started practicing mat pilates with Kishore in a group setting for a couple of years and, after having a great experience, transitioned to private studio/reformer sessions while I was pregnant last year. Kishore expertly led me through individualised sessions throughout my entire pregnancy and guided me through specific exercises to effectively manage my pelvic girdle pain. A couple of months after having my baby I restarted private pilates sessions which has helped me return to my pre-pregnancy fitness level. Thanks Kishore!

Welcoming, knowledgeable and calm.

After a very short time with Kishore I am already feeling improvements in my body and my understanding of how to continue improving. He creates a balanced (pun intended) environment where the attention to detail is serious, but the mood is light. Without judgement he explains, directs, encourages and pushes all to the right levels. I’m new to Pilates and was intimidated by the prospect of working with an instructor one on one, but feel challenged and supported in equal measures during our sessions.

I came to see Kishore when I was struggling with an Achilles tendonopathy (I’m a ballet dancer). He guided me through exercises tailored to help me strengthen and heal & the injury went away within a week. It has really helped my dancing and how kind, focused instruction was invaluable.

I attended a 1 hour Pilates session twice a week with Kishore Ryan towards the end of my pregnancy. Kishore is a wonderful human who wrote a tailored differentiated program for both myself and my also pregnant friend, and was super conscious of our individual needs while also exercising safely. He is a diligent teacher who really helped us with preparation for labour and prevention of injury, and even when I was exhausted after a day of waddling, we’d leave feeling energised, positive and muscles stretched. Couldn’t recommend him enough and looking forward to postnatal Pilates after our little one arrives!

I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to write one for Kishore. I have had weekly individual pilates sessions with him this year and they have significantly improved my core strength and appear to have fixed nagging shoulder and wrist injuries that have enabled me to return to kayaking. If you are looking for a pilates instructor who is knowledgable, highly attentive and thoughtful, and communicates in a calm and clear manner then look no further!

I feel so grateful to be discovering pilates with Kishore Ryan this past year. I have a long standing lower back injury and chronic back pain from being in front of a computer all day. I am an Indian classical dancer and I practice low-impact yoga regularly. I’m usually very hesitant to jump into new forms of exercise in fear of aggravating my back and not being able to dance. Kishore has been so patient, tailoring each class to increase my hip and lower back mobility while strengthening my glutes and core. He is relentless in making sure I’m doing each movement with precision and that the exercise is targeting the right muscle or body part (and continuously iterating the exercise if not). Thanks to Kishore I feel confident and strong in my body again, not in fear of living with constant lower back and body pain. I have more energy, dancing almost 20 hours a week without pain or discomfort. Thanks so much Kishore, I truly appreciate you dedication and effort to helping us live a life without pain!

I started my pilates sessions with Kishore in my second trimester of pregnancy, having no previous pilates experience. I was a little hesitant as other exercise like yoga was becoming difficult for me and I was worried about the safety of many types of exercise for both me and the baby. Kishore quickly put my mind at ease as he was clearly professionally trained and knew what was safe and what wasn't. His manner was very accommodating (the opposite of a pushy trainer) and the program he established for me made me feel strong and in control of my body. I'm now heading into labour confident and without many of the physical challenges a lot of people experience such as back aches and swelling. In addition to all of that, classes were really enjoyable, and no matter how low on energy I felt going in, I always left energised and empowered. Thanks Kishore, I really appreciate your dedication and care.

I have been doing private classes twice a week with Kish since the beginning of 2022. In that short amount of time my posture and lower back pain from years of drumming and being hunched over a laptop has significantly improved. You always feel lighter and a foot taller walking out of his classes. I saw my osteo recently who was so shocked at the transformation that he made sure I gave cudos to my Pilates instructor!! So here I am.

I’m so lucky to meet Kishor one of the best Pilates instructor in Melbourne. His sessions just amazing, really cool programs and professional verbal explanation. I loved his private sessions he will make you work out!!! I feel so happy working with Kishor he shows me how beautiful Pilates can be.

I didn’t realise Pilates was as functional as Kishore has revealed it to be. He has patient, has pushed me through some tough learnings, and I’m all the better for it. To anyone second guessing giving it a go, Kishore is the person to guide you.
