Tea Gardens Hotel

We decided on having dinner at the Bistro. I ordered some drinks & the bar man was friendly & helpful about deciding on my choice of wine.

At the Bistro I ordered the Vietnamese salad OMG what a winner that was. Often these days salads swim in sauce but this was perfect - I Loved the dressing - finger licking good, plenty of prawns in it as well.
Needless to say I highly recommend it 💕
The two person musicians were great & we enjoyed a few dances 🎶

We go regularly to the pub and always have a great experience. The food menu is now smaller but still ok. The prices have increased but where haven’t they? The salads are good, the chips are delicious. The service is friendly, drinks beer and wine choice fine. Attractive venue with good choice of areas to sit

I have been coming here regularly for a few months now.
Eaten upstairs a few times and the meals are great.
But a big big plus!
I have never seen such a happy team of bar staff in the main bar.
They always make the extra effort when serving!
A smile is always welcome and makes the day of so many customers.
One person especially seems to drive the team atmosphere.

Tea Gardens Hotel was our choice for lunch when taking the day trip on the ferry from Nelson Bay. The hotel was very busy but plenty of tables were available. Service was excellent and all our meals were delicious. I would recommend Tea Gardens Hotel.

We visited with friends on the weekend and so appreciate the care of kitchen to ensure food was prepared safely for our daughter who has anaphylaxis. It’s a great spot with an awesome playground for kids. We will be back. Thank you Tea Gardens Hotel team

This is a busy pub, it is in a really good location, and they punch through the food, which is generous and tasty. It's a good location for lunch in Tea Gardens, although you do t get much use of the view.

Food surprisingly good. Live music. Lots of room. Pretty good for kids.

Great family pub right opposite the water. Food was great and good value. Plenty of outside seating and dogs are welcome.

Such a fabulous pub right on the water. Had a wonderful time. The cheeseburger was delicious and the fries outstanding!

First wedding Anniversary there , was very nice .

This venue was great for lunch. The dining rooms were all completely packed on a Sunday but our food was really quick to come out. A huge range on the menu, reasonably priced and really delicious. A bit of a wait for the bar, but like i said, it was really busy. The staff were amazing and really friendly. We would happily stop here again 😊

My wife and I recently stayed at this accommodation for our 6th anniversary, and I must say, it was an overall great experience!

Note: Friday night was live band night, and the band was blasting what sounded like heavy metal music or hard rock. We were warned it'd be loud and crazy, and they weren't kidding! It was hard to sleep that night as our room was close enough to feel like we were in the mosh pit with the crowd cheering on. So keep this in mind if you're after a quiet stay. It probably won't be an issue if you love that style of music though.

I recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in a beautiful location. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Friendly, good entertainment! We didn't eat but the food looked amazing

Best pub meal in a very long time! Chips exceptionally crispy. Warm and friendly staff.

Ben is very accommodating for when you need a room or some good old fashioned service. Very funny when it comes to his trivia stuff.

The place has been revamped slowly and is very nice. It's a perfect place to get away and chill.

The food is always fresh and delicious.

Must go. And we always do.

The food was delicious & fresh. The staff went above & beyond to deliver a fabulous milestone birthday, accommodating all requests & exceeding expectations.

Happenstance led us to the bar and grill around dinner time. It was schnitzel ‘Snity’ night and the portion was generous. Paired with oysters and many pints of beer. The locals were friendly, talkative, and very cool. It was a very pleasant evening and would defiantly recommend if you’re passing into Tea GardensZ

Was camping for the weekend with family. Had a fabulous meal, at a reasonable price. Was very busy as local footy team there. Met some lovely people. Service excellent. Will be back!!

Lovely setting, dog friendly beer garden, great food especially the fish cone, and lovely staff. Stopped by for lunch on the way from Sydney to Coffs Harbour - we’ll be back
