Yaya Xinjiang Chinese Restaurant

Pretty amazing food and totally different too the usual Chinese food I have eaten! The pulled noodles is a must try. Staff was helpful. We can't here for the pumpkin dumplings unfortunately they didn't have any so we end up with other things like vegetarian dumplings, pancakes, lamb pulled noodles etc, all of them were great.

Very nice xinjiang food - loved the flavourful lamb skewers and the hand pulled noodle and chicken. We asked for spicy and they definitely gave us the true xinjiang spice :’) We were crying eating it but to be fair we did ask to go all the way. As good if not better than the xinjiang places at Box Hill. Unassuming restaurant and very good value for money also for portion size.

This is our weekly 'go to' restaurant. Service is wonderful. Food is delicious. the noodles are to die for and portion size just perfect. Given the authenticity of the food, it is matched by the excellent way customers are treated. We always invite friends to join us here and everyone who comes and experiences this restaurant is delighted. Clever, kind people who own this restaurant. They are proud of their food. The menu is excellent and every dish is delicious. Well done Ya Ya Zinjiang!

So delicious! I ordered takeaway via UberEats. As soon as I opened the boxes of food, I was hit in the face with loads of memories from family dinners. Eating this food made me so happy because it was so delicious, but also because it was so authentic. The lamb dumplings and da pan ji taste just like my mum used to make it. I'll definitely be ordering from here again and again.

I walked in. I told the guy that I used to live in hk, and that I’m a fussy aussie white guy that likes heat in my food, asking him what I shld order. I trusted his judgment. The result: wow. #highlyrecommended

My favourite Chinese food in Malvern, don’t let the home styled layout and hand written signs fool you, this is as authentic as it can get & they’re really lovely people, really like places like this that don’t get the shine they deserve.

This is my now go-to place for this particular XinJiang Chinese cuisine. Other places around Melbourne have their hit and misses. But I feel this is the all-rounder. Awesome noodles. Must try.
