Learningland 4 Kids

My oldest boy attended Sue's classes for 2 years upon which he built a strong foundation for letters and numbers, preparing him for school. My second boy is currently attending Learningland and he couldn't be prouder each time I pick him up from Sue's classes. Sue has created a nurturing and engaging space for kids aged 3-5 to fully embrace learning and all its wonders. Our family can't recommend Learningland 4 Kids more highly.

Both of my kids have had many years at Learning Land and have really benefited from Sue’s teaching. It’s fun, creative, educational and great for their social skills too. A personal thanks Sue for running such a great program. I can highly recommend to anyone who wants to give their child the opportunity before Prep. 10 out of 10. Thanks Sue 🙏

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for Sue’s outstanding dedication and exceptional teaching skills at Learningland. Witnessing my son Eric's incredible progress throughout the past term has been nothing short of remarkable.

When Eric initially embarked on his journey to learn numbers and alphabets, my primary goal was for him to master writing his own name. However, Sue’s guidance and expertise have surpassed all my expectations. Not only can Eric write his name flawlessly, but he has also mastered an impressive array of numbers and letters. It is truly astounding!

What truly amazes me is the transformation in Eric's attitude towards learning. Previously, he found numbers and letters mundane, but thanks to Sue’s patient and engaging teaching methods, he has developed a profound interest in them. The magical spark Sue has ignited in him is truly a testament to her exceptional skills as an educator.

Words cannot adequately express my appreciation for the immense impact Sue has had on Eric's educational journey.

LearningLand and Sue has been an exceptional experience for my son. He was the shy kid, the one who wanted to learn but just took that bit longer to warm to new situations. It took two lessons and now he actively seeks to go to class and confidently says ‘Sue is his favourite teacher’ across all the various kids activities he’s tried. On the way to Prep orientation I simply said to him ‘It’s just like Learning Land but even more fun’ and we had no tears, an easy transition and a confident little boy who knows how to identify and write all the letters of the alphabet. Thank you Sue!

I cannot speak more highly of Sue and the Learningland 4 Kids programs. Her commitment to help each child grow and develop into the best they can be, is a wonderfully amazing and unique quality. Sue takes the time to know your child very well and will provide feedback but also recommendations for areas that may assist your child to further develop their learning experience.

Sue is amazing at playing games with children whilst they learn fine motor skills, numbers and their alphabet. Our son doesn’t realise how much learning is occurring because he is having too much fun. Our child’s letter recognition is exceptional thanks to Sue.

I highly recommend this program to all
parents wishing to prepare their children for school. It’s a fun and interactive way for children to learn letter sounds and their first 30 sight words. I put all my 3 children through the program and it gave them a great head start in learning to read. Sue is very warm, fun, engaging and has a genuine love for teaching children.

Learningland was a wonderful activity for my 4-5 year old son. It developed an interest in numbers and letters and was something he always looked forward to. Sue is an amazing teacher who shows a genuine interest in the children and conducts wonderful, interesting and fun classes. We can't wait to return when my youngest is old enough. I have been attending Learningland for over 8 years, with Sue teaching each of my 3 children at various stages. It has become an absolute fundamental for my children throughout their pre-school years and one which I am so so glad I committed to all those years ago.

My older two children commenced school well ahead of their peers in numeracy and literacy and are excellent academic kids today.

My daughter in 3 year old kinder can tell me the sound each letter of the alphabet makes - and she gets so thrilled by her efforts. Another year of Learningland before she starts school and I know she'll be walking into Prep with a huge advantage and super confidence.

That is one of the greatest outcomes of the Learningland program and Sue's greatest superpower! Confidence. She gives each of her students so much confidence in their abilities. It helps so much in those crucial first weeks of school when your child feels like "I've got this! I know this!"

Sue is a beautiful teacher and nurturer. Her classes are play based and always fun filled and children aren't just learning phonics and numbers but also practising their fine motor skills (cutting with scissors, glueing, painting, sticking) and their social skills too (saying goodbye to a parent, sitting in a classroom environment, taking direction from a teacher, working alongside peers, sharing, contributing and participation in class).

I am super proud that we are the longest standing Learningland family (according to Sue!) and thank her for the most outstanding contribution she has made to our children over the years.

My 4 year old went to Learning land last year before the commencement of foundation learning this year. This was a wonderful experience to prepare for the year ahead.. 2020. What a year.! This year I had no hesitation on calling super Sue to assist me as the inexperienced home school teacher in navigating and keeping abreast of educational milestones. Overall Sue’s approach to little ones learning is truely amazing. She adapts to their style and mood to get the best out of the child. For me Sue is not just a primary school educator, but someone who takes a genuine interest in the family, child and their learning journey.

Highly recommend Learning Land. Sue is warm and nurturing and prepares children for school by introducing numbers and letters in a fun way and helping them adjust to a classroom environment. Both of my children benefited from Learning Land and really enjoyed it!

Sue is an amazing teacher and have a great connection with my son. My son says it is better than Kindy and he really loves Kindy!! When I read to him, he will tell me an interesting fact about the name of the letter like Peter Puppy and what sound the letter makes. Sue is also great with the parents and gives us updates on how our kids are doing or what we can do to help them. Thanks so much Sue!!

Learningland4kids is a wonderful program largely due to the owner and teacher, Sue Kennedy. Sue has over thirty years of teaching experience and it shows in the way she welcomes the children and builds a relationship with each and every one. She is so committed to bringing out the best in every child and letting them work at their own pace but always encouraging them. She always makes the time to chat with parents about their child and her wealth of knowledge and the patience she shows are evident in the way she makes learning fun. Thank you so much Sue!

My son loves attending Learningland 4 Kids. At the end of each session, he is so excited to show me what he did in class. Sue is a wonderful teacher, so kind and welcoming. She makes each child feel special. I highly recommend Learningland 4 kids.

My son absolutely loves Learningland4Kids! He has developed so much since starting and his speech and vocabulary have also improved. I know that the classes are providing an invaluable foundation for school and will give him confidence as he starts his primary years. Being a full time working mum this was a life saver... my kids learnt to read all through learningland (without my help at all!).
I enrolled both my children into learningland and after 4 years we are sad to go!

What a great program that gives pre-schoolers that chance to feel like they are ready and attending a relaxed school setting to help reduce that anxiety for when they do start. A very well structured program, Sue is marvellous and the kids are fully engaged the entire time!
Beautiful area, I would often get the chance to have some one on one time with my toddler and go to the park or a cafe, knowing my daughter was in safe hands!
