Really surprised to find such nice Korean BBQ outside of the city or Carnegie. We’ve been here 4-5 times over the last 3 years and the food is consistently great! It’s nice that it’s charcoal as well and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Nice local find for anyone that likes KBBQ!

First time last night. Service first class. The food delicious all you can eat BBQ great value. Will definitley be going back.

Very friendly. We had the beef thingy platter and it was great. John loved the chips and sauce. The rice was good and it filled all three of us up beautifully! You should definitely try it you will have the time of your life it is the perfect place for dinner with your family and friends 10/10😊👍

After already sampling multiple Korean BBQ restaurants across Melbourne, damso was next on that list. First impressions were excellent with a full house on a Friday night, greeted quickly upon entry.

The menu has a good variety with plenty of traditional Korean dishes on offer, and of course plenty of bbq set options. Couldn't go past some blueberry soju to compliment the dining experience.

The wait staff were fantastic, very efficient, friendly and forever hovering over the hot plate to ensure nothing burns on your bbq table. A great place to experience Korean cuisine. definitely check it out.

Amazing food, great price and great service. Best Korean barbecue I’ve had in Australia the pork bulgogi is absolutely amazing and grade value we have the all you can eat meat.

Food quality is superb. Service was great. Probably my favourite Korean BBQ buffet place. Price is also very cheap for the quality of food and service they provide.

What a great place to eat. We had the beef set with some chicken and scallops and a round of drinks. The soju loosened me up, I wrestled control of the BBQ and we all had a great night. We then went over the road for ice cream!

The meat was awesome, the salad and sides were flavourful, and the soybean stew was a favourite. This place was a good find 👌

We had the "Mix & Match" (two different types of fried chicken) with salad. It was so yummy!

Some of the best Korean Fried Chicken I've had since my trip to Seoul. Perfectly cooked, generous portion and the taste is simply amazing! If you want to try some delicious authentic Korean Fried Chicken in Melbourne, this is the place. Just trust the reviews, you can't go wrong with such a high rating! Also easily accessible, very near the train station!

Tried this place and their new menu last week. We had the Korean fried chicken (original and soy). Was delicious. Will be coming back for much more- particularly the original. Well priced, lovely staff. Once they set up their eftpos it will be even easier to pay too!

The choice to eat at Damso was a quick, impromptu decision when five of us needed a place to celebrate in a hurry.

It was a Tuesday night and we were thrilled they were open until late. With a quick call, we reserved a table for five.

We ordered the pork and beef package good for four, choosing spicy soft tofu for our soup, and a whole serving of Korean fried chicken. We were treated to an unforgettable night of great service, overflowing side-dishes, delicious meat on the grill that seemed endless for five, hungry adults, a hearty and chili-laden soup, and a large serving of fried chicken served with cabbage slaw. This was heaps better than other Korean BBQ places we'd been to.

The 3 side dishes were kimchi, mung bean, and pickled vegetables, refilled when asked. They were spicy, savoury, and sweet contrasts to the marinated meat, which was delicious as pieces came hot off the grill. The fried chicken arrived, heaped generously with a side of slaw, and it filled us up as we supplemented everything with rice.

The meal was supremely delicious for the price, the experience seamless as the server sized out our portions very well. It was a night to remember as the server kept our glasses full and accommodated our every need. She even went so far as to help grill our food before we took over.

One of the cooks eventually came out to say hello and offer some sweets. This was exceptional service in the heart of Elsternwick.

In all, it was an intimate, incredibly enjoyable experience that all five of us raved about as we walked out, our bellies full. Thank you, Damso BBQ for a great, celebratory dinner we won't likely forget!

Great food, got the spice full chicken for 34$ to share with a mate which proved more than enough. A little sweet for my liking but still really good. Overall extremely pleased and will go there again. Cozy area. About a 15 - 20 min wait.

Best fried chicken I have ever had... and I'm a harsh critic at the best of times. The service was excellent and Brian put in a lot of effort to make our culinary experience as enjoyable as possible. Will be back very very soon!!

Delicious Korean food - a new favorite! very reasonable prices $13 hot dishes like bulgogi and rice, and $16 for the half serve KFC (Korean fried chicken), we had the honey soy garlic flavored it was amazing! The waitress was also a delight and very friendly and helpful explaining the menu to us.
