St James Art Silo

We enjoyed this silo tour,the murals like this were fantastic so much work has gone into making them ,and at each one there is an information board to tell you all about it I think sometimes the best bit is these tours take you to towns that you would otherwise tear straight through now you can enjoy the mural and duck over for a cool drink or camp behind the pub doesn't get any better I think

I was blown away by just how good this was to see. Highly recommend taking the time to visit.

St James is a quaint little town with deep history to the first Coles store. The silo art is about the history of George Coles and St. James from the beginning and how the town aged through the years. The art is beautiful, and I highly recommend this place to visit and enjoy.

Part of the Silo Art Road Trip from Picola to Goorambat in Central North, Victoria. Beautiful tourist attraction. A must see. Best to head off early in the day as it is quite a long tour. Tour is totally at your leisure and totally free. Not a guided tour. Silo Art Road Trip pamphlets can be found at most Information Centres in the region.

Very lovely art installation on the silos and a new one just around the pub corner showing the rail heritage of St James. Don’t forget to have a beautiful morning tea, lunch or dinner washed down with a beverage of choice at the nearby community pub.

Never did I expect to stumble upon the birthplace of the corporate monster, Coles, all the way out here!

Great art throughout this area. It's definitely worth a look if you are in the area.
