Absolutely fantastic restaurant!

The food was delicious and the drinks are fantastic. Extremely welcoming environment, every waiter has been lovely.

I also need to give special props to Jane who served us the majority of the night - She’s super friendly, accomodating, and really makes you feel welcome.

We will definitely be back the next time we are in Mansfield or passing through. Thank you!

What a beautiful restaurant this truly is, nestled in the quaint little town of Mansfield, the gateway to the snow and lovely picnic spots along both the Jamieson and Delatite rivers and just a stones throw away from Bonnie Doon and Lake Eidon.
Loved our meal, service and wine choice at Bos Taurus, all served with a smile and attentiveness. City restaurants could learn a thing about hospitality from this country eating establishment with its open fires in winter to the open too balcony for warner weather conditions. The meat menu is to die for, the steak, the best lve eaten in a world of travels and l certainly will be back again. 11/10

Absolutely devine meal!!!! The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing!!! You can't beat an open fire to add to the ambience either. Cocktails were delicious and I recommend the creme brulee for dessert!!! I highly recommend a meal here, I'll be back!!!

Excellent food, service and ambience. Great wine selection. We ordered Wagu and sirloin beef, both were delicious and well presented.

Absolutely amazing experience. The steaks were just perfect! Dessert we had the chocolate pudding and creme brûlée and they were absolutely divine! The staff were so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too difficult to make happen. Made our first trip to Mansfield so much more memorable, thank you

Came here twice for dinner with a different group of girls over the past few days and both times the staff were attentive, friendly and the food was amazing. We had multiple cocktails and each one was made perfectly and the staff all had the knowledge to make them. Would highly recommend a visit.

Great group lunch venue! We had a small hens lunch on the busy long weekend. They were very easy to deal with from booking, custom food selection to setting up on the day. Lovely outdoor deck space. Wonderful food and lovely day.

The steak and spare ribs are to die for. Without doubt one of the best steaks I have had.
All the side dishes being salads, vegetables and chips were also beautiful.

Will definitely come back for another meal.

Had a wonderful evening. Staff were friendly and attentive. The best expresso martini I have had! My husband loved the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Would be more than happy to dine in again.

My partner and I had an absolute fabulous dinner here could not recommend this place higher, truly wined and dined would absolutely come here again and bring friends. probably one of the best steaks I've ever had, truly a credit to the region. Fantastic host and staff.

My husband and I dined here last Sunday. From the time we walked into the restaurant and was seated near a warm and cosy fireplace, the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. The front of house staff were exceptional as was my delicious cocktails. We ordered a selection of entrees, the prawn dish which was cooked to perfection was delicious as was the beef entree. My scotch fillet melted in my mouth and was a generous serving cooked to my liking (medium rare), my husbands rib dish was enormous. I'm already planning my next visit and now i know I save enough room for the dessert. This restaurant is a must.

Best steak I've had in a long time and the Red wine jus was just to die for, so much so there was enough left over to just drink with the last best piece of steak.

Also, the waiter Josh. Perfectly attentive and pleasing.

Been coming here for year's during each trip up for holidays and have always had good service. but this trip was the first with my new born daughter.

The staff had been excellent, put us in a more relaxed part with room for the pram and when my daughter decided she had enough, they offered to help out where they could and it is this type of service and above and beyond attitude that made me want to spare some time and write this review.

i will be a customer for life now.

Just perfect. I've recommended this place since I first tried it. I'm back again and it's just as brilliant as ever. The best steak ever. Amazing drinks. The staff are brilliant. Price is not a worry (there are plenty of reasonable priced dishes) but I don't give a damn that I'm dropping alot on this place. It's absolutely worth the experience
