Lisica Cafe

The food was great and in very large portions (super reasonably priced). Was really impressed by the chicken skewers and the chicken was unlike any mock meat I tasted before. The owner/head chef was so friendly and passionate about his food which made me want to try out his entire menu!! Will definitely come again :)

Visited today and we absolutely loved it! It was our first vegan meal and we were amazed by how diverse, filling and delicious the food was. The coffee with coconut milk, and hot chocolate with soy milk were sooo good. My chicken burger was so tasty, dare I say better than a regular burger! Service was also wonderful. Already making plans to go back :) Thank you for hosting us, all 4 of us loved it.

Super friendly staff, and food that is so flavoursome! With sweet and savoury treats & meals on offer, I believe I've found my new favourite vegan cafe. Will definitely be heading back soon!

Best vegan eats I have had ALL YEAR!

Slightly hidden from the main road and main strip of restaurants in this area, giving it a nice homely vibe and welcoming atmosphere surrounded by lavender bushes.

The food was knockout!

We started with drinks, the sparkling apple juice was a pleasant surprise, something we never tried before and the iced coffee was one of the best I’ve had in months.
First round was the “chicken” skewers, made in-house by the chef and owner, sauce changes every week, honestly the texture was exactly the same as if it was real and the sauce left my partner scrapping the plate.
The main dishes we got were the burgers, the “KFC” style fried chicken burger was the closest to the real thing I have ever had. And the cheeseburger was the standout dish, with special seasoning on the patty and amazing relish, it was juicy and delicious.

If I could give this place 6/5 stars I would!
A must try for all vegans in Melbourne!

Very close to the Maribyrnong River means I can enjoy one of their vegan only dishes right after my exercise
Serving sizes were very generous with creative blend of the Spanish cuisine in some of the dishes. Really enjoyed the Spanish baked tofu breakfast with my almond late.
Highly recommended for breakfast. Excited to try their lunch menu next time

Amazing food and friendly service. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food was delicious, ample and reasonably priced. Sagar (the owner) was genuine, delightful and passionate about making tasty and inventive vegan food. We loved hearing how Sagar is focused on his business' impact on the environment and how he has adopted a minimal waste strategy within his kitchen. We are genuinely looking forward to returning again to Lisica Cafe soon, to try more of the items on their amazing menu. Do yourself a favour, have a meat-free meal and head to Lisica Cafe. You won't be disappointed!

Epic and delicious chocolate pancakes. Loved their big breakfast which has one of the best tofu scramble we have ever had. Great service. Need to return to check out the rest of their menu.

So glad to find this hidden gem! Best sweet potato fries i have tasted so far! And burger is very tasty. Quinoa bowl... Loved the way the different ingredients go together. Awesome customer service too! Very friendly and humble multitalented manager too!

Best breakfast in the area. First time I went they were sold out of food. Had the owner chase after me 100m to give me and a friend a box of vegan cakes & slices. First impressions count 😊

Been a regular ever since. Wholesome vegan food, focus on zero waste. Sometimes the kitchen is under the pump but it’s worth the wait.

Took my own plates in and asked for a take away today, had a picnic at the local lookout. I’m glad the chef obliged.

Fantastic please full of deliciousness and excellent customer service. My family enjoy the tastiest vegan burgers that we've tried and nice chatting with his owner, a person obviously passionate for vegan food and making everything posible for get us satisfied. For sure we will come back several times.

Sizes are deceivingly large despite low prices, come hungry! Apparently vegan, I'm a meat eater and I didn't notice the meat as vegetable substitutes, so that was good.

If things are quiet can bait owner into talking about anime/manga for a solid conversation LMAO. Will be looking to come back to try them burgers.

One of Melbourne's best kept secrets no more a cosy vegan cafe making amazing food! We had the chicken burger and the Spanish Tofu Scramble both were absolutely delicious we spoke with the chef who was so lovely and he's excited to do even more amazing things with the menu why not pop by for a great feed.

What an experience it was dining in this beautiful café tucked away in the heart Melbourne's west. It has a modern industrial that feels fresh and exciting, while the staff make you feel right at home and cozy with a shelf of books for your reading pleasure.

We started with two bottles of Summer Snow, a Victorian bottling company that offers a variety of fresh sparkling fruit juices that taste like the best pick of a season's harvest. The bruschetta was the BEST I have ever tasted! (Pro tip: ask the lovely chef for an extra drizzle of balsamic vinegar; thank me later.) The matcha fruit bowl was a delightful mix of fruits, berries and chia seeds in a coconut shell. We also tried the newest addition to the menu: the taco bowl, a filling and healthy medley of flavours. The jalapeño rice, beans and chorizo blended with the textured crunch of lettuce was the main I didn't know I needed.

Absolutely delightful little cafe located in a beautiful spot. The staff were so lovely and patient with how indecisive my friends and I were.
The food was delivered fast, presented beautifully and tasted exceptional. Featured is the gorgeous Chocolate Ganache Mud Cake which was so dang yummy.
I’ll definitely be returning here for more. I can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Super awesome vegan restaurant!!!! The nacho bowl is super good. Highly recommend the “chicken” burger. It is even better than the real chicken burger.

So excited to have a new local vegan cafe! The staff are absolutely wonderful - friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. There are so many options on the menu and we decided on the pancakes for breakfast! A+ presentation, generous serving and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and work our way through the rest of the menu.

Went to lisica cafe in Maribyrnong and it was amazing!
Their menu is 100% vegan and we got the chickn burger and pulled 'pork' burger.

The chickn burger was so fulfilling and delicious, it had the best facon and delicious sauce

The jackfruit burger was also amazing, great flavours - it just needed something to add a bit of crunch, as it was a bit of a sloppy burger (but still sooo good)

We got both fries, waffle fries and sweet potato fries.
The waffle fries had awesome flavour and crunch - the sweet potato fries were also tasty but only when it came to the thinner fries as the thicker cut fries were lacking a bit

We also had chai lattes that were alright, but milk a bit burnt. Kudos to them for making the chai mixture in store though! The waitress working was very nice and lovely

Not many people around during the week, but would love to see this place thrive and succeed!

Best burger Ive had in a while! I got the chicken burger and waffle style potato chips and l Ive got to say is YUM! Very friendly service and decent prices.
