The best place I've stayed for a quilting retreat yet! More than enough room for 10 people, it has everything you could possibly need. The rooms are spacious, clean & the beds are super comfortable. It's hard to decide which space to sit in - looking forward to the next stay
to sit out on the back deck looking out at the hills. Michelle & Peter are brilliant hosts, friendly, accommodating, unobtrusive & delightful to chat to.

This is an excellent place to stay for groups.
There are 11 guest rooms, each with double beds or two singles, good heating and cooling and full en suite facilities.
There are large communal areas including a room with work stations for group sewing or computing training. Dining room can handle up to 24 people.
It works best for self-catering.
As a former aged care facility, it is excellent for older groups, but younger groups can fit right in.
Within easy walking distance from the Loch village with interesting shops and great cafes.
A great plcae for a relaxing time!

Have now held our second weekend retreat here, booked two more for next year. Brilliant! Peter and Michelle are ever helpful hosts. Correspondence has been answered quickly and No question to silly.
The venue is well lit for our crafting activities, the kitchen well equipped for a group of hungry women to whip up a meal. The BBQ and deck area were well used. And at the end of the day we fell into very comfortable beds to snooze away the night.
Congratulations to Peter and Michelle on creating such a welcoming and versatile venue for our groups to gather at.

I have returned from a two night stay with a group of sewing friends and have nothing but praise for Michelle and Peter, the approachable and friendly hosts. The hospital has been reborn as a wonderful base for groups..with a nod to its previous life in the decor. The bedrooms are modern and spacious with large ensuites and the beds very comfortable. There is a large lounge/dining area looking over the Loch hills and a large deck with barbecue set in an older world garden. The kitchen is large...commercial in size with 2 ovens and everything you could need, even cocktail glasses. If you don't feel like cooking cafes are a short walk away. The meeting/craft room has great natural light and is well serviced with its own tea/coffee corner. Our group booked again before we had left from this retreat. It will be a regular visit.

Nothing but the highest of praise for a beautiful venue! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean and fresh with a dash of quirky with the decor, group spaces well equipped and spacious! Even the little things were thought of such as a stack of board games and books for guests to enjoy. Perfect for our crafting group and we are promptly rebooking! Thank you for a very enjoyable experience in lovely Loch Village.

Had the pleasure of a craft weekend away and stayed at the old hospital accommodation. Absolutely beautiful. Spacious, clean, large kitchen and dinning area. Quaint gardens with beautiful outdoor sitting areas. The rooms all had ensuites and aircon and were immaculately cleaned. The owners Peter and Michelle are lovely. We have booked another stay and highly recommend this for businesses and crafty groups. Wish i could add a few photos. AWESOME!

Lovely comfortable beds, good linen, place clean and tastefully decorated. Michelle and Peter friendly and very hospitable. We had a fantastic weekend and would recommend staying here. We had Not just Tarts make dinner each night for us, and the meals were delicious. A great place to stay with a group.

My daughter and I recently visited The Old Hospital Loch to check it out for a Yoga retreat for 15 people in the Spring. The Activities Room is a perfect size and we have tentatively made a booking. The Old Hospital Loch has been recently refurbished and looks great. It is nestled amongst beautiful green rolling hills and it is a perfect location for holding Yoga classes as it really is an escape to the country.

The Old Hospital, what a wonderful place for a group to stay! Michelle and Peter are exceptional hosts, at the ready to help if need be. We were a group of 18 and the place easily catered for us. The large communal lounge/dining area is a great space to gather together. The bbq and deck area overlooking the cute garden is another place to get together. And it doesn't stop there...... The open space that presents as a craft work room - wow, its all there, even some cutting boards for patchworkers! And a cute little sun room off this area for a quiet sit. I know I'll be back, not sure which group I'll organise for first - a group of women to sew for a few days, my family who have roots in South Gippsland or another large group of friends. It's perfect.
Thanks Michelle and Peter, I'll be back. We had a wonderful weekend.
