The lunch special is incredible value - $10 for a full, steaming plate of fried rice noodles. I prefer my rice noodles a little more charred but this is a personal preference. At this price point, I can't fault the dish.

The server was able to manage my dietary requirements perfectly. He was polite and attentive. Our food was prepared extremely quickly and was piping hot on arrival.

My mum is currently visiting Penang and making me jealous by sharing photos of her foodie holiday. Had to drop by Petaling Street to quench my Malaysian hunger. The char Keow Teow was seriously yummy and the fried chicken nasi lemak so generous we couldn't finish it.

I went here yesterday night and it was some of the best service I’ve ever had. The staff are so caring, kind and make sure everything is right and quick. The food came out sooo quickly and the portions were Massive! The food was also so flavourful and Delicious. Definitely coming back thanks guys! -Jay

AMAZING RESTAURANT. The prices were phenomenal and the portions were astronomically big, it was a nice surprise admist the current economy. SERVICE IS AMAZING EXTREMELY NICE AND CARING I received a full new meal when I wanted to take away. MENU IS AMAZING AND EXTENSIVE and overall atmosphere is pleasant. I am glad I went here and couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for your amazing service

I have been going to this restaurant for my entire life, before i could even remember. The boss is the nicest guy i have ever met, i remember when i was younger he would always give my family free prawn crackers. The boss used to play movies on one of the TVs and is always playing amazing music

Great southeast Asian food. Green curry beef was very tasty with just right amount of flavour in it. The beef was tender. The eggplant dish was also good. Plenty seating place. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend to try their iced cendol for desert.

Always a delight coming here. The staff are always wonderful. Food is always good. I really love the roasted chicken. Yet to try the clams but I've had a variety of the other dishes and all were good.

Best comfort food for me. The butter chicken ribs is my favourite it just so amazing and never get enough of it, other than that BBQ pork, Salt and pepper bean curd, and chili and ginger kangkung are awesome as well. Hommy feelings and the staffs are very polite and friendly.

Hands down the best Malaysian experience I've ever had. Every single dish was sensational. The flavours were mindblowing. The service was great. So much love in those dishes. 10/10 all the way. I highly recommend. 💛💛💛💛💛

It has been a very long time since our previous visit preCovid. Our most recent visit was on a weekday at about 730pm for dinner. Not much of a crowd so seating was easy to find. Service was prompt and friendly. Interestingly the background music playing at that time was distinctly Thai! But my favourite “Sabai Sabai” song was not in that repertoire. The menu remains extensive with many familiar Malaysian style dishes. We chose 2 sets of fish dishes plus kangkung belacan and the Prawn noodle soup. Delicious! Happy tummy!

Wow I didnt know food here tasted so good until recently, seems like after covid happened the culinary scene in Melbourne all went up a notch from a break.

The braised mushroom, broccoli and deep fried tofu dish was so delightful, with so many delicious textures going around and a heavenly braised sauce. How come I didnt know their tofu dishes were so good 😋 we found out they made it in house, no wonder! Exceptional dish that involves at least 3 cooking methods here, love it so much and reminds me of banquet dinners /Cantonese dishes I grew up eating. Can't believe they sell such a dish here at an affordable everyday price. Going to go for more!

Would give their hakka braised pork belly a miss next time, it was abit tasteless with too much starchiness going on and too much fat which made the dish abit greasy. But surprise wongbok cabbages were hidden at the bottom of the claypot they gave it a palate cleanser.

Century egg porridge was also yum 😋 and just what I was craving on a cold spring summer winter night (melb weather making me sick) 😄

All in all I realised they do good for a Cantonese palate based on those 2 dishes hehe, I guess the chef's not Hakka 🤭

Food is always amazing. The gentleman who I believe manages or owns the restaurant is always very kind and you feel welcomed as soon as you enter.

Been coming here for 10 years. The service and food has always been great. The manager has been around for a long time and always very nice and polite. They staff is always great. We will keep coming back!

Delicious flavours throughout all the dishes shared......Clams with chilli, marmite pork chops, homemade tofu with broccoli and char kway teow. The highlight being the ice Kachang!!!!! Thanks Kim, a great host.
