The Carringbush Hotel

Staff was nice and told us no worry when we told her our reservation is at 7pm and it was almost 7pm but we were 20 minutes away stuck in traffic.
My friend paid for my food and drink for my birthday yesterday. The salad was nice with coconut rice, tofu with peanut sauce with vegetables. Gnocchi was also nice and warm.
It just that pub was abit too dark for me to see as I am vision impaired😅 but I understand every pub is same.

Delicious food! Lots of amazing vegetarian and vegan options with a great variety of drinks. Atmosphere was beautiful with very friendly staff and live music! They even provide board games so you don’t get board. There is outside space and a pool table.

I live close by and it was my first time here. I will definitely return again. The pub has a nice ambience.

Best onion rings- so big! The grain salad was delicious and so was the jerk chicken... however I would have liked to have more tortillas for my chicken. I only got 2 small sheets. And the salsa was more a garnish rather than part of the meal...so I would have liked more of that too. My friends platter was nice. The dips and bread were tasty but a bit too many pickles. Some of the pickles tasted like pure vinegar to the point where they were too much to eat. Otherwise everything else was good! I absolutely loved the hot sauce wall! For a chilli freak like me, I enjoyed taste testing a few bottles!

Try not to sit too close to the pool table while people are playing...it does get a bit noisy with the balls going down the holes.

What a great hidden vegan and vegetarian gem. The food was delicious with great portions, an amazing depth of flavours, and clean to the palate. We had the gnocchi, Jamaican Jack ribs and sautéed greens. The staff were friendly and atmosphere was relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed the live piano performance.

Awesome vegan/vego pub! We need more of these! The tacos (tofu fish/spicy bean/hummus cauliflower/apple and custard) were delicious!

Only thing that would make this place better would be a wheelchair accessible bathroom/entrance - my partner is in a wheelchair so couldn't use the bathroom here unfortunately.

An absolute must go for anyone looking for great veg pub food. I highly recommend the chick’n karage burger. Be adventurous add the bac’n and cheese!

What we had here:

Housemade ‘squid ink’ fettuccine, made of seafood alternatives, this terrific pasta dish was absolutely fresh and delicious. Packed with so much flavours, this one is definitely a must try.

Halloumi and mushroom burger served with slaw and fries, such a juicy and tempting burger it was. The thick patty layers of a whole portobello and a fried halloumi with fresh spinach, mint aioli and tomato chutney was simply mouthwatering and very addictive in taste, strongly recommended.

Arancini balls were absolutely flavourful and so yummy, made of bacon alternative, peas, black pepper, garlic chive aioli. Crispy from the outside and perfectly juicy from the inside. Must try.

NY style baked cheesecake, (V, GF, NFO), the cheesecake was simply sensational, and so delectable, made with seasonal love of rhubarb and pear, this one is a perfect dessert to enjoy on cold winter afternoons. It has lemon curd, pear and rhubarb compote, whipped cream and an almond praline. The best thing about the dessert was that it wasn’t too sweet but was enough to enjoy the flavours of it.

Besides we also had an array of cocktails and mocktails which were all very refreshing to drink even on cold winter days. Must try for sure.

Also the service is very friendly and prompt even on busy weekends, led by a team of fabulous, kind and cheerful team of staff. The prices of all the menu items are unbelievably reasonable considering their generous portion sizes and great quality of food.

Meat-free spread at its best🙌 Honestly this guys know what it takes to be a legend in meat-free pub. We loved the food we had in particular their tempeh bowl, plantbased meatballs and the charsiu dumplings.

Apart from yummilicious food, you can enjoy playing pool billiard, board game and exploring their hot sauce station! Yes they're all under one roof🎉

What a lovely pub. Delicious vegan food and amazing staff with great entertainment as well as gorgeous setting. Ted our rescue dog met Sagan today and she fussed over him so much. It was his first ever outing to a pub after many years being chained up. He loved it and so did we. Thanks for being welcoming and for delicious tacos and drinks!

My favourite local pub with an amazing atmosphere, and even better service! Lots of great vegan food for a reasonable price point. Drinks are great with a countless selection of beers on tap.

My new favourite pub! Had a great vibe, the cutest pool table, art, piano and a meat free menu with yummy yum yum vegan and vegetarian dishes. A wall full of chilli sauce and great beer and wine selection. We'll be back 🥳

Absolutely awesome - best pub that I've been to since moving back to Australia from the UK! Everything you could want - awesome vegan pub food, good beer selection, hot sauce wall, pool, games shelf. And best of all - DOG FRIENDLY. I had my greyhound happily napping inside next to the fire and the staff were so nice to her. A+!

Everyone in my party was super impressed with the food, service and vibe. The staff were so friendly and the pool was fun to play too. Great place to hang out with a casual feel.

Vegan pub with a good craft beer selection. Had the halloumi and mushroom burger with onion rings as well. The other dish is the squid ink fettuccini. All very tasty. Burger better than pasta in my opinion.

The best pub in Langridge St. Amazing beer tap range with great depth, thought and quality! Food is quality too - delicious and fresh. Staff are charming and accessible.

More beers on tap than you can poke a pint at. Excellent vegan/vego meals. Genuine staff. Hand made gnocchi is damn good. Great pub atmosphere.

Didn't know it was vegan pub food but gave it a go . Very impressed and would return, staff was extremely nice .
