WOW! With extra emphasis on the wow! Food, atmosphere, service was exceptional! Must try of Thai lovers. So; let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: *****
Outside seems really plain, but when you enter it’s like entering relaxed lounge of luxury. The leather chairs and lounges are very comfy, and the decor supports the amazing Thai culture to great effect. Definitely a place for all occasions. Extremely well done!

Customer Service:*****
Both customer service reps were excellent. Both were bright, colourful and very polite and helpful. Our order was taken effortlessly with entrees, mains and drinks; entrees under ten minutes, mains under ten minutes afterward.
We were asked after our dinner, offer dessert and if anything else was required. It was an absolute delight.

Order: Mixed Entree, Duck Gang Keon Whan, Chicken Gang Dang, Chicken Pad Ki Mau.
All Excellent!!!
Mixed Entree - excellent assortment and all hot, crispy and excellent flavours.
Duck GKW - the duck was so amazingly tender and juicy; along with the sauce the pumpkin added its own special something, truely a must try.
Chicken GD: As above, the chicken was succulent and the sauce was so rich and flavourful. Excellent!
Chicken Pad Ki Mau - the spice really took the show with this dish, nice fresh ingredients with that fresh spicy chilly was just a winner.

Overall: This restaurant really delivered across the board with presentation, service and excellent Thai cuisine! If I can get back here regularly I would be trying every dish they have on the menu. Absolutely well done, NongKhai Thai! Highly recommend!

Delicious food, amazing staff - this place is truly underrated, been coming here for the past 2-3 years and has never let us down. The takeaway portions are also very generous.

Love this place, very fresh food. We normally do take away but the atmosphere is cosy for dining in. A good place on the border of pascoe Vale and Strathmore

An excellent choice for a dinner party or family dinner outing. You can't go wrong with this Thai restaurant. They serve very tasty, spicy or delicious meals. On their menu I recommend the Gang Dang. 🥘 It's Traditional Thai curry made from a spicy red curry paste. Cooked in coconut milk and vegetables. 🥒🥕 And a bowl of coconut rice. 🍚 A beverage I recommend to try is Lychee lemonade or Blue Lagoon lemonade. 🍸

We got takeaway on Friday night, and it was delicious. The food from here was good previously but they seem to have taken it up a notch!

It's been our family's favourite Thai place in Northern suburbs for 10 years. Food and service are always excellent. Atmosphere was better in their old shop but the new one is bigger and more open

But since COVID the standard is quite different. Take away unchanged but the dine in experience is not what it used to be.

Delicious food, huge portions, really reasonable prices and amazing flavours. We are local and pick up from here regularly. Food is always hot and delicious.

Always apprehensive to try a new place for weekend takeaway but was pleasantly surprised. Got 4 different dishes and all were delicious. Safe to say we will be coming here more often to get our Thai fix.

Lovely restaurant and fabulous food. It was recommended by my son and daughter in law, and they were right. Its super. We chose the Banquet which was delicious and good value too. And we think they have the comfiest armchairs we've ever had in a restaurant. All good. Go with confidence.

We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary on Friday at this restaurant and found the service very good and the staff were courteous and polite and very friendly. Food was excellent and very presentable. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to eat and an affordable price.

Rang the restaurant to order dinner for myself and one other person. Obviously during CODVID there is no sit in available so ordered for pick up. Was told a time that it would be ready by, got there in that time and the meal was ready to go, packed up nicely in a brown paper bag ready just right for travelling.
The service at the counter was extremely nice and cheerful.
We ordered the mixed entree, coconut rice, Roti bread, Beef Gang Dang and Chicken Pad gratium pik tai. Every single bite was delicious.
We will definitely be back for more Thai in the future..
The restaurant itself, although not available for eat in at the moment, looked quite nice & clean.

Visited Nongkhai after buying a Groupon voucher to try their set B menu.

Whilst the food isn't truly authentic, it's delicious and the portions are huge. We had to takeaway our mains and didn't manage to finish our dessert.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was served in a reasonable time.

Great Thai standards of Pad Thai, curries and authentic satay but the real specialty are their duck dishes. Quick turnaround for takeaway and friendly and attentive staff. I only wish it was closer to where I live in the East. Would recommend to all looking for authentic Thai food.
