We had the best night out; the food choices were endless! The wait staff were fantastic as were all the chefs. Terrific range of food; great value!

Melba was an amazing dining experience. This buffet offers so much variety. The sashimi bar is just so good and you can even ask them to customise. The oysters were so fresh and irresistible. The service was also top tier!

5 star experience from arrival to departure. Melba restaurant is spacious and very comfortable. Huge variety of cuisine to choose from buffet style. Room was well appointed and made us feel at home. Staff are outstanding.
Luxury surroundings throughout the property and the most convenient location with Southbank at the front door with access to the banks of the Yarra river and CBD.

I have been coming here regularly for the last 3 years. The options are fantastic, however not much of you are a vegan or are avoiding gluten. I hope that they could include more vegan and gluten free options.
We were looked after Promod Dananjay, who provided stellar service.

I was disappointed that the restaurant or the hotel did not have a face mask available for one of guests who joined for the dinner.

Went there on a Monday night for dinner with few friends and their kids. It was pretty busy for being a week night.
Loved all the food especially the ones the chef cooks for you there!
Amazing lamb chops, spaghetti, naan bread cooked by the designated chefs there. Very fresh and delicious 😊

The hotel itself is bit dated but who cares when the food is amazing 😆.

We both celebrated our wedding anniversary there on the 4th of October 2023. We were welcomed by lovely staffs and the ambiance was amazing. We enjoyed the food and drinks. We wanted to thank the Manager Mr. Danny, and his staffs Mr. Daz, Mr. Will, Mr. Justin, another Indonesian staff that we forgot to get his name. He made us a beautiful authentic Malaysian Char Kuey Teow. The whole experience was wonderful and it really made our day that night. We’ll be back again. Well done Melba Langham.

Best view buffet! Siting besides the rivers, looking outside of the window with full of trees and greens…. Fresh sashimi, seafoods - oyster, crab, prawn, roasted pork, beef, Beijing duck roll, hot pot bar, fresh cooking bar, salad bar, so many to choose, also have variety of cakes and chocolate bar! Warm and smiling customer services! Complimentary coffee or tea! Great place to catch up or have family event! 5 ⭐. Highly recommend. We selected weekday lunch, not so many people and plenty food, price is much cheaper than weekend! Booking is essential!

Great quality food in the best location overlooking the Yarra River! Dined in on a Sunday buffet lunch and was very impressed. Lots of different cuisines, meats, seafood, veges, side dishes and sauces. They even make naan bread for you on the spot! 100% will be going back especially for those lobster tails and buttered caper sauce.

Went here for my birthday dinner. Great selection of food delicious fresh seafood.

Been coming here for over a decade on special occasions. Quality of food is unmatched for a buffet in Melbourne, plus the views are next level. No need to rush as there is plenty of food including seafood. We came as part of a stay at the Langham, and the service was seamless, for both dinner and breakfast. Only downside for some potentially is the cost - dinner on a weekend isn’t cheap!

This was a wonderful lunch! We had a seminar to attend that night so we thought it would be wise to have a big lunch and just nibbles for dinner that night and boy did we have a BIG lunch! Lol

The seafood was fantastic, as were the deserts. We felt it was well priced given the beautiful venue, extensive range of food and the great view of the Yarra River.

Had my birthday lunch buffet here and loved all my food.
The wait staff were super friendly and welcoming.
I'd rate most of the food over 7/10. Hidden gems(11/10) were the freshly made garlic naan, sliced Tamago egg, and roasted veggies.

Never fails to impress. Very enjoyable Buffet lunch on the long weekend Monday in March. quality, quantity and variety of food very good. Service great and very friendly staff. A enjoyable day out.

Fab buffet breakfast. Highly recommend adding it to your stay. Great selection of fruits, juices and both sweet and savoury breakfast options including an omelette station and chocolate fountain.

So good we keep coming back for more! This buffet experience is like nothing you’ve ever had before. There are various stations making food fresh to order for you and so much choice to cater for any palate. The wine is carefully curated and outstanding, your table keeps getting cleared of plates so you get a fresh one each time you visit. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. Cannot recommend this enough - treat yourself!

We always tend to enjoy ourselves during the breakfast buffet here when we stay at The Langham. There are a good variety of food and drinks available to you. Having that river view helps too. My daughter definitely loves the dessert station. (note this visit was about 6 months ago)

Excellent service ! Very impressed with all staff.
Their sashimi and sushi bar is so good, fresh and great selection with king fish, tuna, octopus, tamago egg, grilled eel.
Love the Naan bread bar where you can choose the flavour. I pick m&ms naan, add some chocolate from the chocolate fondue is sooooo good!!
Oysters are fresh. Such a delightful meal!

Great night dining at the Melba. Took our kids and the whole family enjoyed themselves. Service was exceptional. The young man who served us did a fantastic job. The food was good and the buffet clean and organised. Very expensive, but a great experience whilst in the city.
