Alison Lester Gallery

More than a gallery, more than a shop, actual planning art, story boards for books and awards decorate her Gallery. The staff are helpful and you are able to leave purchases for signing and posting.

The Alison Lester Gallery is wonderful. Our children were brought up with Alison Lester books - they are adults now and their books are still treasured. We loved seeing the full range of Alison's work and we loved being able to buy a special gift for our soon to arrive granddaughter. It was very special to be able to see originals of book illustrations and hand-drawn and hand-written drafts of many works. A visit to the Alison Lester Gallery is more than highly recommended (and Fish Creek is a great little town).

Amazing books, prints and other kids items! Love it!!

A wonderful small gallery and shop full of all her children's books. The artwork is just lovely and so is the huge selection of books. There are also a couple of reading nooks which makes it warm and friendly. A dangerous place to take a 3 year old who wants to leave with "all the books". Will absolutely go back next time we are in the area.

A highlight to our trip to Prom Country. Beautiful gallery and shop. The highlight was the personalised signed book. Thank you for a wonderful little spot to take our children.

Gorgeous place to visit. Many of Alison's popular books and her illustrations framed or unframed available for purchase. If she's not there and wish to have signed copies, arrangements for postal delivery can be made. There's also wrapping paper, bookmarks and cards to match books. Staff are helpful and it's a delight to visit en route to Wilson's Prom

Come down if you are in the area to pick up a beautiful print of Alison's, or even a signed copy of one of her iconic children's books. You can also see some displays showing the way she crafts and sets out her books. Support Australian authors and artists and visit this shop!

What an inspirational place!
If you've ever read "Noni the Pony" or "The magic beach" you have to visit, to see the beginnings of it all!
Even our baby was fascinated with the hand drawings and books.

Our host at lnlet Waters Escape in lnverloch suggested we visit this shop.
Just beautiful and of course having three grandkids who read we came away happy with our books.The gentleman serving was very helpful with suggestions for different age readers.Happy kids.

Don't miss this place if you are ever in Fish Creek. Our kids love the reading room and couldn't resist getting some merchandise that keeps their reading alive and the illustrations are so uniquely Australian.
