Dr Anne Tan

Dr Tan has been amazing in supporting my wife to deliver both of our daughters. She was there, every step of the way and provided great insights to the dos and don't . She was there throughout the important hours. Her follow up appointments were prompt and her dedication to client's health was shown through thorough questions. She was attentive and caring, as well professional. She is also very reasonably priced compared to other obstetricians that we enquired. We'd recommend Dr Anne Tan.

As a public patient I was put on a 12 month waiting list for my ovarian cystectomy, I had my consultation with Dr Anne and she said she wanted my surgery done by the end of the week. I was then called into the hospital the next day and had the surgery 2 days later as an emergency outpatient.

Without her I would still be in pain and I am so thankful, Anne is very informative and knows how to make you feel comfortable, I will 100% be seeing her again for future gynaecological problems

Dr Tan is a great obstetrician! During my pregnancy, I had to contact her twice at weekends (evening and early morning). She organised for me to stay in hospital and came in to examine. It was really reassuring. When I had an unexpected surgical issue before delivery, Dr Tan made accurate diagnosis, delivered our baby smoothly, organised a good surgeon and I had the operation at the right time. Praise Lord we are so blessed and will definitely have her again if we have a second baby

Dr Anne Tan was professional, caring and trustworthy for both my intiial gynaecological consultantation and my pregnancy and delivery of our first baby. She was willing to spend the time to explain every step, procedure, and willing to listen to my thoughts and concern. She answered all my questions with patience and was willing to listen to feedback. I had a very smooth delivery, thanks to her experience and attention to details. All the hospital staff speak highly of her. She would also make sure she followed up after the procedure. A very caring doctor.

Praise the Lord that we had Dr Anne Tan deliver our baby boy. Dr Anne Tan is the most focussed and strong headed medical professional we’ve ever met. Whilst experiencing the most nerve racking situation of severe preeclampsia, my wife and I were clueless about the danger which the situation posed and we weren’t in the right headspace to think or even know what the best outcome would be. Thank God that Dr Anne Tan called all the right shots and we followed through on her directive to have our son delivered via emergency cesarean. Upon thorough reflection, my wife and I could not find the slightest fault with Dr Anne Tan’s judgement, directions or actions. On the contrary, without all these attributes of Dr Anne Tan including her promptness to act in the situation, it is difficult to know what the outcome would or could have been. Hence, we can only thank God that we had Dr Anne Tan by our side throughout my wife’s pregnancy. We are ever grateful to Dr Anne Tan and we would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Our experience with Dr Anne Tan certainly is a testimony of how she applied her professional judgement whilst reflecting on her own medical opinion and instinct based on all her study and experience that she would have gained over the years. This is the sort of stuff they can only teach at medical school but doing it in practice with pressures of all kinds certainly involves talent. THANK YOU DR ANNE TAN AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS. Dr Anne did my emergency csection after failed induction. She was Very cairing and assuring like a good friend at the delivery. Also she gives appointments that you can go after work according to your situation 👍Highly recommended

Our decision to choose Obstetrician Anne Tan was influenced by positive reviews on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media platform that is usually reliable. However, our personal experience with Dr. Tan was entirely contrary to those reviews. We feel compelled to share the truth about our disastrous encounter to prevent others from being deceived by misleading information.

Dr. Tan consistently rushed our appointments, displaying a lack of concern for my wife's well-being. During the delivery, her negligent suturing of a lateral cut led to severe bleeding, putting my wife at risk. When the hospital urgently contacted Dr. Tan, she failed to respond for an hour, causing us great distress and uncertainty.

Even after Dr. Tan eventually picked up her phone, she exhibited a shocking lack of urgency in addressing the situation. She spent another hour away from the hospital before returning to suture my wife's wound, despite the hospital's concerns about potential hemorrhaging. This delay further prolonged my wife's pain and discomfort.

Furthermore, Dr. Tan's response to my wife's swollen right leg a week after delivery was callous and unsympathetic, leaving her in tears while already in a vulnerable postpartum state.

Our experience with Obstetrician Anne Tan was characterized by rushed appointments, negligence, delayed response times, and a lack of empathy. We caution against relying on reviews as an accurate representation of her quality of care. Prioritize the well-being and safety of both mother and child by seeking an obstetrician who demonstrates genuine care and professionalism—qualities that Dr. Tan clearly lacks.

We share our distressing ordeal in the hope that others will be spared from similar experiences. When choosing an obstetrician, exercise caution and look beyond deceptive reviews to make an informed decision.

In our opinion, Anne Tan is the worst obstetrician. She rushes the appointments, is busy all the time, possibly overbook with clients. Two days prior, she instructed the hospital to move our hospital admission date to 1 day later. On the 1st day of admission, she showed up about 3 hours late. The hospital nurses were nearly in charge of the whole monitoring process, including adjusting drop dosage. Anne Tan only showed up 2 times before the caesarean. We did not choose to go for Caesarean. After an exhausting 24+ hours, of course it became urgent Caesarean surgery and incurred additional fees. Read the above again.

Final words, her clinic being so close to the hospital adds no benefit whatsoever. In our opinion, she does not care and treat this as pure business, she lacks basic empathy with babies and women. Do NOT think she is Asian so she is Asian friendly. Do NOT go with her.
