Old Market Inn Port Fairy | Luxury Accommodation

Our stay at The Old Market Inn could not be faulted. The apartment is beautifully appointed and so very comfortable. Location is great too as we could walk everywhere in port fairy from here. Communication was also perfect with owners always responsive to any requests. We had a wonderful stay and was a perfect way to celebrate my husband's big birthday 🤗

My husband and I booked a night at the Old Inn Port Fairy and wished we were staying longer. The accommodation was wonderful with little touches of luxury that made a big difference. Everything about it was lovely and we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thank you so much.

This is a fabulous small place to stay. What makes it so special for us was the way in which every single thing that we would have liked to have was already there and beautifully coordinated with the room. This is an old building so some creaks were expected. Well this 170 year old inn is so well maintained that not a creak was to be heard. In fact the building is maintained in a manner that is sympathetic to the building’s age whilst concurrently providing all the modern expectations. The decor was beautifully coordinated. The kitchen had absolutely everything that could reasonably be requested. The breakfast hamper was delicious and more than adequate for two. Not only did it fulfill our needs at breakfast time but also for dinner.
The location is perfect. Quiet, just outside (2 minute drive) of the centre of Port Fairy with room to park right outside the front door. If you are prepared to walk a very short distance, you will discover a delightful coffee shop that serves a top notch coffee. If you don’t want the caffeine, then try their decaf, it is as good as the caffeinated option. If we ever find ourselves close enough to Port Fairy for another stay this would definitely be our first choice for accommodation. In our opinion Old Market Inn definitely deserves the five star rating we have given it.

Absolutely stunning. A quick walk to everything if you can bring yourself to leave. The rooms are styled to perfection. So classy, so comfortable, so clean. Better than we could have hoped. Great weekend in Port Fairy. Definitely recommend hiking around Tower Hill volcano and fresh seafood off the boat at the wharf.

Elegantly appointed B&B. The breakfast basket was amazing and delicious. The double tub was very relaxing at the end of a long day. I recommend this B&B to everyone.

We enjoyed a luxurious holiday at the Old Market Inn in Port Fairy. Close to shops, restaurants and the sea, we could walk everywhere and come back to a gorgeous apartment, that was warm (we were there in June) and inviting. In the morning we enjoyed a fabulous supplied breakfast, made up of local goodies. Thank you for a lovely break,we loved every minute and can't wait to do it all again.

The long weekend get-away was as memorable as our first stay a few years ago.
Great old building very well restored and in a quiet but central location.
The rooms are so comfortable and the beds are amazing for that lazy sleep in.
We found the booking process very easy and the regular communication was very much appreciated.

A truly stunning stay! The finer details made it all the more special - the bath salts provided, the beautiful breakfast supplies left while we were out for a walk (provided by kind fairies one presumes!) and all the lovely touches in the room itself. Beautifully furnished and renovated. We hope to be back soon.

My husband and I spent 1 night in the Osmond room and 1 night in the Norfolk room. Both were equally gorgeous and sumptuous. Kym’s styling is so lovely I bought similar chairs as in the Norfolk room and ordered a ceramic bowl which was a decorative piece from its maker, so I have constant reminders of the beautiful Old Market Inn in my own home! Kym is a fantastic communicator and I cannot recommend OMI highly enough!

Really comfortable room with small kitchen. Milk and water was provided along with coffee and tea. Short walk to restaurants etc.

The Old Market Inn in Port Fairy was the perfect way to finish our trip along the Great Ocean Road! A magnificent restoration and attention to detail for a relaxing stay made this an unforgettable treat for us while we spent a few days exploring the beautiful town of Port Fairy and surrounds.

Lovely vacation spot and great hosts. Very comfortable bed and pillows made for a great sleep, and more stamina for wandering around the town. Would not hesitate to stay again next time.

Spent the two nights here for my wife’s birthday. The suite is beautiful, amazing decor, spotless and spacious. The bath was amazing which we used every night, the double showers were great! The bed is super comfortable! Breakfast hamper was great and fresh, location wise super convenient, 3-4 drive to the best beach and a 7 min walk to Main Street which has the best cafes and restaurants, highly recommend this place! Kym and Steve were great hosts, thank you!!

Amazing place to stay with luxury decor. Fantastic location so close to main shopping precinct and beach. Very quiet, all the beautiful generous little touches made our stay wonderful. Most comfortable bed and very clean rooms. Kym our host was lovely and made the process so easy from booking to check out. Cannot wait to get back again!

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 days staying here. We enjoyed it so much. Kym is a fantastic host she could not do enough to make us feel welcome and was available at any time if we needed her.The rooms are immaculate with a delicious breakfast provided.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Market Inn, the room was perfect as was the kitchen and bathroom with a lovely welcome basket and other little touches throughout, plus the bed was sooo comfortable we came home and bought the same bed

Our stay at the Old Market Inn was absolutely incredible. Every detail has been thoroughly thought out and made our stay very comfortable. The accommodation is within walking distance to the centre of town and is located in a quiet street. We'll absolutely be back again in the future!
