Lake Fyans Holiday Park

My wife and two grandchildren stayed in a cabin for three nights recently. The holiday park, which is run by the council is well maintained, clean and quite well appointed. The cabin was very comfortable with a view of the lake, which is a fantastic view. Unfortunately you can’t drink the tap water so bring plenty of drinking water. The pictures say a thousand words, very picturesque.

Had an amazing experience!! Well kept park with amazing lake sideviews, Clean facilities, Pool, bbqs, etc everything was fantastic easy check-in site plenty big enough for my caravan. The sunset over the lake while having dinner was simply breathtaking. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Staff were really welcoming and friendly. 25 min away from the first water falls. 20 min to IGA, 8 minutes to Barneys pub (great food). Amazing views of the lake and mountain range. Cabin was nice, quiet and warm (heaters were really good), only able to get a couple TV channels. We brought a fishing rod so we were able to fish from the dock, (didn't catch anything but the kids had fun trying their luck). No room cleaning services but daily fresh towels available at reception. Games room and kitchen available, kids playground and swimming pool. Unpowered sites were noisy overnight, would recommend either a cabin or powered sites for camping to ensure adequate sleep if you're doing the falls walking trails.

Needed somewhere quite to have a break and this location was perfect. Park was clean and well maintained. Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Didn't do sight seeing but certainly within easy access to a lot of attractions

Such an enjoyable 2 night stay here as first time visitors to the region. The ‘budget cabin’ was comfortably spacious, spotlessly clean, and well supplied with all you need in terms of kitchen utensils, crockery and pots and pans. There is also an oven, microwave and bar size fridge. Beds were very comfortable with good quality linen, and the water pressure in the shower was great. This was greatly appreciated after all the walks and mountain hikes we did each day. The location is lovely, situated on Lake Fyans and there is many activities for children available too. The park location is an excellent base for visiting nearby Halls Gap. Exceptional customer service provided with their communication since booking, and compliments to staff members Col and Leighann who are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, and look forward to returning!

Place is so clean.... hot water wasn't working... but communal showers were available.

To Jennifer and the team, We love coming to Lake Fyans. It's the smiles when you enter the front door of the reception that you know you are here for a wonderful time. The process for check in is seamless and the facilities are always clean. Just the little things that count like giving us a call to tell us we had left one of kids books behind, and you would be more than happy to send it back to us in the post and also the school holidays organising Halls Gap Zoo to come along to show the kids some reptiles. This is only just some of the stuff that we love, there is so much more and cant wait to return. Thanks again and we will see you in March 2023.

Fantastic location, this was our very 1st caravan trip. Robyn and park owner Jenin were very happy to assist us with parking and made sure we had a good time. Will be back!

Love this place! It's really family friendly a great place for kids to run around and explore in a safe environment. Staff are truly amazing and very welcoming. Fishing, boating and safe swimming conditions are just a few things to do. Being so close to the Grampians with some the best hiking in the country is another key feature.I guarantee your first time here will not be your last.

Clean facilities, friendly staff and so much for families to do in the holidays! Kids enjoyed free pancakes in the camp kitchen (we arrived just as the lady was finishing up for the morning, yet she happily cooked more for us in the shape of our kids' initials!) I handed a stud earring in at the cafe and it was lovely to see the staff member come out to the pool to check if anyone had lost it. Grounds well maintained, bathroom attended regularly by cleaning staff who are also very friendly. Open-air movie night on the foreshore, coffee van, heated pool, playground, jumping pillow, private beach, great bush campsites with fire pit. Spectacular sunset view of the Grampians over the lake 🤩👌We will be back! 🏕🏖🏊🥞📽🍿🚲☕🍦

The view is amazing, the units are perfect for the price, And Cheryl the new manager is the nicest, most helpful and caring park or motel manager I've ever come across. Seriously amazing experience

It has everything you need, from playgrounds to a pool and a beautiful lake to fish in and kayak on. There's a little shop with amazing variety, free wifi, laundries with instant hot water and multiple toilet/shower blocks. It has lovely little cabins, onsite vans and powered and unpowered sites. Each site has a spot for a wood fire if you want it, byo wood or purchase it on site. It was packed out but amazingly quiet with an 11pm noise curfew so it's everyone friendly. We had an unpowered site right up the back and loved it. We'd definitely return.

Wonderful location right on the water front, very clean shower block and camp kitchen, great kids facilities with a playground, bouncing pillow, basketball court etc and the grounds are immaculate with fire pits provided. Peaceful and great views of the grampians.

Lovely park. Grass powered sites $33 a night with power ( G'day member). No water connection to van, they're not on town water. Clean amenities, good hot, high pressure showers.

We stayed at Lake Fyans with a group of 13 people in the 3 bedroom house (8 kids included) and after reading some not so great reviews we were worried, however our stay was absolutely amazing, the house was stunning, it was full of every thing we needed, included all utensils in the kitchen, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, an amazing outdoor bbq area for us to make dinner. Even though it rained the entire time we were there we still had a great time and were able to go to the games room and play pool and the kids were able to have another space to play in.
The Staff were so kind, and helped us with anything we needed, helping us with a late checkout & supplying us with extra things that were needed. We would happily return here, finding places to fit our big family is always so hard, we are very glad we picked lake fyans :)

Probably the best park for unpowered sites in the Grampians. The sites are huge and there are zillions of them all with fire pits. You get to choose your site.....sort of like first in best dressed. There are toilets, showers and laundry facilities if you need them. Also the sites are on coarse , grassed sand....well drained with no clay!! A perfect base camp from where to explore Stawell, Halls gap and the Grampians.

Always look forward to our Annual trip to Lake Fyans. Lovely park. Friendly and courteous staff. Relaxing atmosphere . Great and clean amenities. Have booked in for next year.

Stayed in winter school holidays. Place is quiet and surrounded by trees and right on the lake. Accommodation is basic but very clean and in great condition. We stayed in a 2 bedroom village cabin. Beds relatively comfy, good kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. Old furniture but comfy and in great condition. Old school air con heater worked a treat. Undercover balcony would be great in summer. Paved roads perfect for kids bikes/scooters. Jumping pillow and playground get thumbs up from kids. 15min from Stawell and Halls Gap nice and central. Recommended for families, we will stay again.

Great park amenities very clean. Quiet at this time of year. Very friendly management and staff. Very helpful as we arrived just before Vic Covid lockdown 6. Informed of the rules and options. As we had travelled for over 8 hours from East Gippsland opted to stay until our time was up and travel straight home after that. Thanks very much. Even though locked down was nice to relax and be able to exercise in a great location around the lake.
