ChiliPepper Fine Vietnamese Cuisine

This is absolutely the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to! The food was delicious and really different from most other Vietnamese restaurants, which were clearly made with cares we could taste. The dining environment was very comfortable as well, and we are so grateful for thao's recommendation of dishes and drinks for us, as well as her 10/10 service! We can't wait for our next dining experience in here!

We really love this local restaurant, and have been going for years. The food is always tasty and authentic, and it's very good value. The lovely Vietnamese decor makes you feel like you've entered a really special place. But the best thing is the staff - cheerful, patient, attentive. Everyone I know in the area loves this restaurant.

This has been our favourite Vietnamese restaurant for more than 10 years. Our family of four - now six, with married son and granddaughter - has always enjoyed a meal here. Our favourites are soft shell crab (with chilli lime dressing - yumm) and sizzling prawns in chilli pepper sauce - double yumm !).

The music is a great selection from Beatles, Abba, Eagles etc.

We keep going back !

When your partner who NEVER tips, in years of being together, suddenly says "we're tipping", you know you're onto a BIG winner of a venue.

Best food- generous in both portions and flavours, service, atmosphere and price combo that i can remember. I've eaten at a lot of places and this is definitely underated as a venue. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. 5 stars without question. If they served cocktails too i would never have a reason to leave.

Sorry no photos, but the food is really good. Have been here a few times now and the taste, portions and ingredients are excellent. If in Mopo, highly recommend as an alternative to Local Chook.

I have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant that I can recommend to my friends as the best in Melbourne. I found it today after 5 years in Melbourne. ChiliPepper is a real gem with authentic taste and nice atmosphere. I love that they don't customise the taste but the customers still like it.

Love this little charmer! Been a loyal Customer for 9 years and counting... have always left feeling happy, satiated and satisfied. The chef puts so much love in the food which can be tasted. Portions are generous and prices more than reasonable. It is cosy, charming and clean. Also BYO if you wish to take in special drop.

We ordered the prawn dumplings, chicken sticks (satay), prawn XO and Chilli lemongrass chicken with coconut rice! It was all absolutely delicious! Great service, good serving size and its BYO. Would recommend.

Have been looking forward to dining at Chili Pepper again for a while (since moving to the country) and it did not disappoint. Meals were outstanding, full of flavour with excellent presentation. As normal wait staff were friendly and super efficient. This has always been my favourite restaurant in Moonee Ponds. Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!

There is good reason why Chili Pepper has been around for 20 years - it's THAT good! From the hospitality to the meals, Chili Pepper gets 5 stars from me. I could not fault any part of our dining experience today. We'll most certainly be back. Highly recommended.

I have been going to this place for over 20yrs and its still the best Vietnamese I have ever had.
I travel over an hour to come for my fix just the best.

I was so happy after trying out this place. The food was delicious. I loved the smell of charcoals, the perfect combination of fish sauce, ginger etc. I definitely recommend! Don’t forget banana fritters!

Loved it! Always drove by and wanted to try it. My partner and I finally ate here for the first time and the food was incredible. The host was super friendly and helpful. Ended up getting the banquet and all the food tasted super fresh and really flavourful. Will be back for sure

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant!
Service was good and price was reasonable.
We came in a big group so I was able to try most of their dishes.
They had a dish called Traditional Beef & Potatoes - pretty much just potato wedges and beef and I must say, it was unique and was delicious.
Their food was fresh and we all left satisfied.
I would recommend this restaurant but make sure you call to book or they may not be any available seats available.

I've lived in the area forever but somehow missed this gem. So glad to have finally found it and will definitely become a regular. Lovely fresh flavours (a group of 4 dining, ordered 3 entrees, 4 mains and 4 desserts.......all yum!) Service with a smile as well!
